it’s darkly hilarious to me how, now that Russia is a capitalist oligarchy, the United States seems to suddenly have no mechanism whatsoever for stopping them from buying our politicians. When they were communist we sure didn’t have any problems going after all sorts of mostly innocent people to find one or two sleeper agents. But now? lol. Lmao even.

The irony hasn't been lost on me.

If you espouse pure capitalism, obviously legislation and the Supreme Court become commodities. There HAS to be regulation on certain things. Corporations can't be people. Judges can't take outside money -- if you want that to be a trade-off for no term limit, so be it.

It just amazes me that no one recognized a danger to democracy that's so simple. Well, I guess we did have some laws in place about it, but everyone's afraid to enforce it because the perpetrators will cry "lawfare."

Lots of people recognized it but a lot more people said it was fine and that those were being overly negative or paranoid. The economy was good, globalization was good, and there was a lot of money to be made in the 90s and 00s… surely Russia wouldn’t be mad about 50 years of harsh sanctions and nuclear rhetoric. Right?

Seriously, you're actually upset over people mocking David KKK Duke endorings a Jewish person? Ridiculing the religious part of this and not the actual white supremacist is not a good look.

Anyone getting a load of Kamala's interview on fox. What were her handlers thinking?!?!

Because she could say things to people who only listen to Fox that Fox never will let them hear about Trump.

She didn't say anything that hurt her. She did say things that hurt Trump.

She effectively debated Bret Baier as a surrogate for Donald Trump.
 
The way Fox talking heads were analyzing things after the interview are all the proof you need that they thought she did pretty well. A combination of vague criticism or nitpicking that they'd never do to Trump.

I just think fox listeners are like members of a certain church denomination, and they are most likely not going to convert over to a non conservative candidate. I realize they both are trying to capture the undecided, Its just hart to believe there are that many for viewers that are undecided?

I don't think she necessarily was going for undecideds with the specifics of the interview. I think she did it to douse a bit of the energy for some of Trump's base and then also for maybe some people who might not have watched but been impressed that she even would go on there when Trump's basically hiding in his basement.

Trump is such a pussycat he won’t even debate her again. Won’t do 60 minutes. He’s hiding out in only his safe spaces.

Trump’s handlers know he’s dumb as a rock. He just got owned by a Bloomberg guy yesterday and couldn’t even keep on track.

He's winning, he doesn't need another debate. And Kamala only wants to debate on networks that are partisan in her favor. Elon has invited her to debate Trump on X and she declined.
