Trump's base already was going to the polls.

They can't vote more than once.

He's not adding anyone because of what Biden said.

As you yourself admit, it's not going to draw swing voters, and MAGA already were voting for their leader, so Biden's gaffe doesn't gain Trump anything. You have to hope that it convinces someone who was voting for Harris or considering voting for Harris not to vote, and I just don't think that's going to happen when Trump's surrogates offended Latin-Americans, women and left-leaners at MSG and Vance is on Rogan right now continuing to take shots at LGBTQ Americans ... none of that is getting any non-MAGA people to vote for him or not vote for Harris, either.
 
I'd say this was out of touch if it was something other than an articulate guy polishing bigotry. It's still not adding any votes for Trump but it might drive a few more people away.

BTW, this is just more of this "us/them" campaign they've run that's such a loser. If Trump loses this election, you'll never hear from J.V. Couch again.

 
Well… Trump has not attacked Felons and people in prison yet. Figure he’ll wait until he knows he won’t be going in to see Buba personally.

2. They need low-information people who don't typically vote to decide to come to the polls and cast a ballot their way.

So my point stands that it fires up the base/Trump supporters and gets more to the polls.

BTW, anyone who wants to see a good reason why Kamala Harris didn't want to go on Rogan should watch his podcast with Vance right now.

The complete lack of self-awareness on both sides is mind-blowing. These guys are both coming off as the top of the heap of bigots.

Hey, Joe's trademark over years has been making wild ass comments, which has nothing to do regarding how good a politician he's been. Obama selected him as his running mate to add not only solid experience, but some good time off the cuff character, to the campaign. Thats always been Joe.

I don't know if you didn't reason what I told you or just ignored it.

Trump's base ALREADY was going to the polls. They can't vote multiple times. They aren't convincing any large number of other people to go with them because Biden offended them. Biden didn't offend non-MAGA.

If you have two people in a group that fit a certain demographic and already have participated, you can't split them or multiply them so they can participate again. This isn't the Publishers Clearinghouse were if you get excited you get to enter every day. They get one vote apiece and only one, and members of Trump's personality cult already were voting and people outside Trump's personality cult aren't voting for Trump because Biden said people in Trump's personality cult are garbage.

BTW, I love opionions on salads and subs. High in Vitamin C and low sodium.
 
The point of the fauxrage over Biden is to be able to ignore Harris's closing speech. Instead of hearing about what she said we hear about Trump riding in a garbage truck.

Yep. That was the biggest thing. It was static that obscured a great speech.

Biden should know better. The people around Biden should know better. Things are going well, don't shake the applecart. As much good as you've done and your intentions are never questioned, you have to know who you are and verbal gaffes are part of your resume', so let Harris' campaign handle things and just sit back and relax.

MT. PLEASANT, Pa. (KDKA) — Some participants in a Halloween parade in Westmoreland County are coming under fire for their depiction of Vice President Kamala Harris in a float.

Photos of the float in Wednesday night's Halloween parade in Mount Pleasant show a utility vehicle decorated with American flags and Trump campaign signs and people dressed as United States Secret Service agents with what appears to be a rifle mounted on top with a person dressed as Harris chained up and walking behind the cart.

The photos have gone viral on social media and the response is overwhelmingly negative, with many calling the float racist and offensive.

In a statement on Facebook on Thursday night, the fire department apologized "for allowing the offensive participants" to be in the parade.

"We do not share in the values represented by those participants, and we understand how it may have hurt or offended members of our community," the post said.

The Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department said it has "traditionally only provided safety & traffic control" during the parade but didn't elaborate on how the float made it into the parade or who was involved with it.

"We will be reviewing our planning processes to prevent a situation like this from happening again. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to make our events more welcoming for everyone," the post closed with.

Daylon A. Davis, the president of the NAACP Pittsburgh Branch, put out a statement in response to the float that said, in part:

"This appalling portrayal goes beyond the realm of Halloween satire or free expression; it is a harmful symbol that evokes a painful history of violence, oppression, and racism that Black and Brown communities have long endured here in America.

"We urge the event organizers and local leaders to implement clearer guidelines to prevent this type of hateful and hurtful display from occurring in the future. We also ask that they offer an apology and make a public commitment to anti-racist values that affirm the dignity and equality of all people."

Mayor Diane Bailey said the borough will have more to say in a statement on Friday.

Sitting down with the wife right now…..just finishing up and we both realized we don’t know who our Mayor or Governor is…..feel pretty bad about that.
 
But then just like that there is a dude running for an office WHO HAS A GOD DAMNED HOOK FOR A HAND! This made me feel A LOT better about that!
