Looking at the standings, when is the last time a #1 seed finished 13 games better than the #2 seed? Also, the Orlando Magic have a legit shot of getting the #2 seed!

I kind of think this is why the Bucks are choosing to rest certain players namely Lillard at this point. Not sure they care much about the difference between 2-4th seeds in the east. They need all players healthy and playing well in the first round. We all know after the first round it's a total crap shoot.

has anybody seen this scheduling before?

the Kings are only a half game behind the Suns and Pels in the race for 6th seed and a play-in bye. Now here's the weird part: Kings and Suns are tied in season series 2-2; they have played 4 times. But they are playing a 5th game on the 12th:

Fri, Dec 8, 2023 @ Phoenix Suns W
Fri, Dec 22, 2023 Phoenix Suns W
Tue, Jan 16, 2024 @ Phoenix Suns L
Tue, Feb 13, 2024 @ Phoenix Suns L
Fri, Apr 12, 2024 Phoenix Suns

Fri, Dec 8 @ Phoenix W114-106
Fri, Dec 22 vs Phoenix W120-105
Tue, Jan 16 @ Phoenix L119-117
Tue, Feb 13@ Phoenix L130-125
Fri, Apr 12vs Phoenix

maybe I've just been under a rock and haven't noticed, but since the league expanded to 30 teams I don't recall teams playing 5 times in a season...?

Irregularity from the In-Season Tournament

aha! got it

thanks!
It looks like on 12/6/23 the Suns lost to the Lakers in the Quarter Finals and the Kings lost to the Pels.

The two losing teams squared off against each other on 12/8/23. (Game 1 of the series between the Kings/Suns)

On the other end of the spectrum the Raptors have lost 15 straight and have moved from 7th worst to 6th worst.
15 straight? Guess you really miss Banton, huh.

Looks like Masai's reputation could go the way of Joe Dumars'...

Maybe the Blazers can beat the Wizards too?

How concerned are you with the Knicks losing Julius Randle?

one must have been a makeup preseason game

Why are the Knicks a better team with Brunson and Josh Hart? We have Dame here with Hart and it never work out?

Dame and Josh didn’t even play a full season together and Damr missed a lot of games.

I'm not sure how the Spurs are going to leverage the Cavs and Mitchell....unless they throw several of their own 1st round picks into the mix

Joe knew going young and starting over would buy him at least 5 years.

Hart tossed for punting a Bull in the dome

Scott Foster is a clown.
This was inadvertent contact. Hart was trying to keep his balance and Green was bending down low to gather the ball. flag 1 sure but no way is that Flag 2.
No intention to kick someone.

maybe Scott Foster lost some money betting on Villanova this year? Let's check the Wildcats record.. 18-16, not bad... oap, they got smoked in the Big East Championship and the NIT.
There it is.
