I never said he was going to be amazing. I think it was a good risk because they got him for nothing.

He makes them worse not better. Is only a good risk if they aren't idiots and just cut him. Brewer is the real prize.

He absolutely does. It's funny too because Smith thinks he's the best player on the court. Such a mental midget

The fixation on the Rockets and Smith in this forum is amazing

you mean the fixation on the Rockets and Smith that mags has. The rest of us aren't wrapped up in it.

IDK, first I root for my Blazers to do well. Then I root for individual Blazers to do well. Then I root against hated rivals and certain players whom I dislike for whatever reason. The Lakers are basically irrelevant so I'm kind of enjoying all the ragging on the Rockettes in general and Harden and Smith in particular.

It's just entertainment. :)

Andre Miller was interviewed by T Haber. I'm a big Dre fan and figured some others might be as well, so here it is.

Tom Haberstroh: Andre, I've got a game for you.

Andre Miller: [Laughs] A game, huh? How much are you gonna pay me for this?

TH: Ha. I don't need to pay you. I think you'll enjoy this one. Promise.

AM: All right, all right.

TH: You have 8,226 assists in your career. You've assisted 136 players. Thirteen of those have received at least 150 assists. Who are those 13?

AM: Oh. Carmelo Anthony.

TH: Well, that didn't take long. Yup, he's No. 1 on the list. 502.

AM: Andre Iguodala.

TH: Yup. Number 2. You got him 473 times. Remember, you might have to go way back for some of these.

AM: Wesley Person?

TH: Wow. Yep. No. 3 with 434. What do you remember about feeding him?

AM: Shooter. Oh, and Lamond Murray.

TH: Really? Yes. No. 4. How are you getting these in order?

AM: There's one more person, right?

TH: In the top five, yeah. You have the top four.

AM: Marcus Camby.

TH: [Laughs] Yes! He's No. 5. You tallied 325 assists to him. Lots of lobs.

AM: Oh, LaMarcus Aldridge.

TH: Number seven! 250 assists to him.

AM: Nene.

TH: He's 11th. This is crazy.

AM: Hm ... J.R. Smith?

TH: Nope, not J.R. You're human.
AM: Voshon Lenard.

TH: He's No. 12. Way back.

AM: Nic Batum.

TH: He's No. 13. 151 assists, so he's the cut off there.

AM: Ty Lawson?

TH: Not quite, not quite. Another two in Denver.

AM: Hmm ... I don't know.

TH: Kenyon Martin!

AM: Oh! Damn. Who else?

TH: A wing. Still in the NBA. Corner shooter.

AM: Corey Brewer! God!

TH: Yup. Still looking for No. 6. Think Philly.

AM: Willie Green.

TH: Boom. Another Philly guy.

AM: EB.

TH: Elton Brand. That's 13. Nicely done. So, who'd you like passing to the most?

AM: Carmelo and Iguodala, for sure.

TH: What about Carmelo made you like passing to him?

AM: He just had a feel for how to get open. He knew how to catch a lob, catch and shoot. You know, post-up, cut. Iguodala was pretty much the same way.

TH: Was there a specific play you remember running a lot with Melo?

AM: The spin and lob where he sliced under the basket. He'd see his man, and I'd throw it right under there.

TH: Who was your favorite guy to throw a lob to?

AM: Probably Marcus Camby or LaMarcus Aldridge.

TH: Yeah, LaMarcus and you had a couple big ones against the Lakers in the playoffs, right?

AM: Yeah, those two are probably my favorite lob guys. Easy lobs.

TH: I shouldn't be, but I'm surprised you got Wesley Person and Lamond Murray so quickly right off the bat.

AM: Straight shooters. Guys come off the catch and shoot. Big-time shooters.

TH: [Shows full list] Here's your list. Take a look.

AM: [Scrolls through] Ah, I forgot about Kyle Korver ... Al Harrington, forgot about him too. And Thaddeus Young.

TH: Ricky Davis.

AM: Ricky Dee!

TH: See, told you I didn't have to pay you.

He must've meant someone else who played with him in the playoffs (against the Lakers) because it wasn't LaMarcus.

That was fun. Loved how he got his top 5 in order. Honestly, doesn't really surprise me all that much with him.

Love dre day, dude was legit

I went to Portland and stayed at the Marriott Inn. Dre was living in the room two doors down from where I stayed. Took a picture with the dude one morning when we were eating breakfast

Yup, I was psyched when he got here. Too bad that team was never at its full potential. That lineup would have been great.

Dre
Roy
Nic
LA
Oden

Bad fit with roy but a perfect fit with everyone else, GODDAMNITALLTOHELL

Dre was super frustrating to watch take 15 foot jumpers though, that shit was UGG, but mostly because he was so efficient on the block, you just wanted him to do that everytime
