Everyone is slamming the All-Star game.... I don't know how you fix it. I just know that players used to be fiercely competitive (like MJ and Isiah Thomas) but now they look like they just don't give a shit.

They don't give a shit. If you gave a shit about being a real competitor you would never load manage. Lebron, for his age, doesn't really load manage. Dame doesn't load manage. Many stars don't load manage but it's becoming a cache thing started by Leonard. I also don't believe for a second the whole "management won't let him play; too much invested". Bullshit.

The Mailman and load management? GTFOH.

Bucks continue to sign ex Blazers....they've had Patty C, Wes, Robin Lopez, Rodney Hood and now Meyers....there's a theme there.

Not to mention Ingles...though he never played for us.

I think the context of the all-star game started to change after Dream Team I. International ball is when we see our superstars compete.

Hampton off to the Detroit ‘Bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled draft picks’ Pistons.

I’d take all 3 of those coaching candidates. Imagine: a bonafide coaching search… <sigh>

Nate might be best as an assistant coach (same with Terry Stotts, and until he proves otherwise, Chauncey).

I sure wish we'd do the same, ffs.

The difference is, Nate has coached for 19 years and has a track record. And his teams best player probably didn't like him.

Chauncey is barely in his 2nd year and (checks notes) the teams best player likes him.

Though he also liked Stotts, so that's not necessarily a great barometer.

I read it as Trae vs. Nate and they went with Trae.

I think the difference is that Nate had experience when he took the job and Chauncey doesn't even know when to use his challenges.

It’s interesting how much Cam Reddish is being brought up by Atlanta fans in the context of Nate McMillan’s departure. (Probably somewhat unfairly)
