Atlanta is well known as an urban playground for young black athletes who are easily distracted...Portland is where players come to work on basketball and avoid those distractions. Lot of temptations in Atlanta that can stunt a young man's career once he gets a bag of cash and hits the clubs. Yes, just as they were traded to us. 2 of them are almost entirely fictional (would be an ace dart throw). The pick haul is more realistically 1 first and 1 2nd (since 2 went out in the Tisse trade).

Then those picks still have partial value say 20%-50% of a pick. Trade them this summer. Boom problem solved, **SOME** value recouped.

Reporting had the Blazers trying hard to deal Nurkic at the trade deadline. I think it will be interesting to see how Nurk responds and plays out the rest of the season. He seems to be the sensitive type.
