I already know it's pointless to discuss anything with you, so this will be my last reply. I compared his first half+ season in NJ to his rookie season, because the scant 18 game period in between saw him play only 7.4 minutes per game. And his shooting percentage plummeted. It was the periods immediately before and after that that best indicate if he changed as a player as soon as he got more opportunity.

You can't stand being disagreed with. I simply bring facts to the argument and don't settle for half truths... You haven't brought anything to this portion of the discussion that backs your argument. :dunno:

His numbers alone, and hindsight is 20/20, prove we should've given him more minutes. Hindsight also proves that we should've chosen Jordan over Bowie and moved Drex to the 3.

WE DIDN'T.

My contention is that all of that is Drexler's fault. We couldn't even keep Ainge because he didn't want to come off the bench.

Clyde is a bitter little bitch. Always has been. Expects to be treated like royalty and thinks the world revolves around him. I've heard so many stories from very reliable sources, that if they were more well known around here in Portland, he wouldn't be nearly as beloved as he is by fans.

Those draft picks are starting to look better and better. They really muffed up a good thing when they fired Griffin.

It feels like GA will ask out sooner or later. The Trade Machine shows that GA + Portis for Grant + DA works. Give them back their picks.

Will you do that?

This doesn’t hold up. Ainge left us to play for Phoenix where he didn’t start a single game in the 92-93 season. In two more seasons with Phoenix, he started twice. In Portland, he started 6 games in one season.

lol yes! How many of their picks do we have?

He led us to two NBA Finals. Even Walton didn’t do that despite the win. Drexler deserves to be beloved,
