Verajao has looked really good for the warriors. The Cavs have problems...

I still wonder why we did that. IMO cutting Kaman while keeping Side Show Andy would have been a much smarter move.

Well, you know how it is, we always like to help a team that's down in the dumps like Golden State.

I was against cutting Varejao. Not because of what he brought on the court but it would've increased our salary cap flexibility. Now his deal will eat up cap space until 2021. If we had kept him but don't add any expensive free agents this summer, we could keep his full deal on the cap and be done with it in 2017. If we trade for a high salary player could've thrown his salary into the trade.

If we needed every dollar of cap room could've cut and stretched his salary this summer just as we did last month. But now we have fewer options. Potentially cutting $10 million off our cap is more valuable than keeping Kaman or Cliff Alexander.

Kaman's rapport with the team is probably more useful than the 50 or so total minutes Andy would get the rest of the season.

I don't like helping a team that we could potentially see in the first round.

I assume we did it as a favor to Varejao and his agent. Get him out of a bad situation in Cleveland, and allow him to go to a contender of his choice rather than rot on the bench here. It's the little things like that that Olshey is very good at, greasing the wheels for future generosity.

That's cute. You think we have a chance to beat Golden State.

Why even play the games if you don't think there's even a chance? We seem to play well against them. If any team has a shot at beating them in the first round, I think we might have the best chance. Does that mean I think we're going to beat them? No, but I still don't like handing them free talent for their rotation.

What a knucklehead. When Rondo's the voice of reason there's a problem.

If they counted that, how many other questionable assists does he get?
Good question. I wonder if there's a replay of the game online.

I miss what NBA.com had last year where you could call up replays of pretty much any stat group. That was awesome.

You can still do that - if I understand what you're talking about. You just have to access it from the player's Game Log. Wish you could access through box scores, but you can't.

Awesome!! I didn't realize. 10 likes for you, sir.

Went through them all via the video on NBA.com. Assist #13 is the one shown above, which is clearly bogus. Video for assist#12 (to Ibaka at 4:43 left in the 2nd) doesn't actually show the pass. The other 18 are beyond dispute.

Sorry Derek Fisher, but that's not the only story, or the only reason why people think you're a creep.
