Rockets are taking on this bad boyz persona. Would be a juicy play-in between them and the Warriors

Given that high school was probably the last time anyone came to a game specifically to watch Michael Porter Junior, he might not be the one to deliver that message.
I didn't know that that Raptors center that's caused the betting scandal is his BROTHER. Now he's not even the most famous athlete in his own family...

Boston Celtics are staying in our hotel. Payton Pritchard passed me and I said, “Go Ducks!”….. he just walked up to me and whispered that he’s better than Scoot.

Ya but why no pictures or video?

So, get Josh Giddey on his back, and he scores! That's what underage She, said.

That won't stir shit up here at all now will it?

overnight Blazer Svi Mykhailiuk is getting some reps in Boston. He's shooting 40% from 3 this month.

This is like when people walk up to Trump, big strong people, with tears in their eyes, and they say, "Sir, I want to thank you for saving our country..."

Bucks were 31-13 before Rivers arrived.

They are 15-13 since.

Oops.....

Timberwolves Owner is saying he is no longer going to sell the majority stake in the team to A Rod's group. He says they haven't met the contractual deadlines, they say they have. This is going to get messy. The buyers are saying he is having seller's remorse because he is selling the team for 1.5B and teams are going for over 3B now.

Oh man, if Hawks make playoffs, they’ll be playing Boston. The Celtics should be worried.

Dejounte wiggle stick crossover 20 foot game winner

I mean exactly how do we all think a Warriors vs Nuggets series would go right now?
Hawks are 34-39 in the 10th spot trying to stay in the play-in and maybe trying to get the 9th seed from the Bulls.
The Warriors are 38-34 in the 10th spot trying to stay in the play-in and maybe trying to get the 9th spot from the lakers.
Here's the biggest difference. the Warriors have 3 HOF players and have won multiple Championships with arguably the greatest shooter ever to play the game.

This game should remind people that the Spurs basically threw away Derek White and Dejounte Murray.

I don't think they threw them away. Non-simultaneously, they traded White for a 1st round pick and four 2nd round picks (Richardson). And they traded Murray for a 2024 first that will likely become two seconds; two unprotected 1st's; and an unprotected swap

essentially, they traded Murray + White for 3 unprotected 1st's, an unprotected 1st round swap, and 6 second round picks

but more than that is the Spurs made the hard decisions that Portland constantly refuses to make. They thinned out the Murray+White+Vassel+Johnson backcourt by going with the younger pair of players that fit the timeline. They did so by trading away the two older players that would be combining to make 60M/year in the long term; and those were two players good enough to add unneeded wins, but not good enough to be core players. And the Spurs have a real good idea what actual core players look like.

the Spurs knew better than to straddle a fence of indecision. They chose a side. And right now, the Spurs have no salary over 20M/year and only one over 20M year in the future. Portland has four such salaries and only 2 wins more than the Spurs. Doesn't seem like the Spurs would be dumb enough to pay Ant+Grant+Ayton 94M/year while being deep in the lottery
