Do not get me wrong Billups is not a great coach but also look at the teams he has been given too at best he is a C plus coach at this time. If changes on this roster are made and we see little to no improvement next season then he should be fired ASAP but I can live with him for one more year.

He underachieved lofty expectations. Chauncey is being given grace due to bad roster. CB is unproven, we don't know how good a coach he can be but it's also premature to judge him yet. One could argue we don't have the luxury to wait and see and that we must have a sense of urgency in the HC department. I wanna see how he does with a solid roster, hopefully that happens this season

With the current roster the Blazers coach is irrelevant.

There are rumors Jalen Brown likes the idea of playing for Chauncey. Supposedly Grant likes it. If Chauncey is a draw for players to force their way to the Blazers we should at least give them a year to try playing with him.
