His play was pretty good in Portland, he was a critical role player on the WCF run. Season ending injuries two years in a row and ownership that wouldnt pay luxury tax ended his time here. Was a good gamble for the Spurs on that cheap contract - they might be able to flip him for a FRP by the deadline.Watching the Spurs: Zach Collins has become the player we wanted him to be. Nobody watching them nowadays would say that John Collins was better than Zach. Zach is a genuine two-way player, solid offense and good-to-great defense.
