Jesus Christ will everybody shut up about this kid? Leave him the fuck alone and treat him like every other #55 pick who's unlikely to make the league.
Agreed. I couldn't care less about this kid and the nepotism that got him where he is.

Unlikely to make the league? He has a guaranteed 4 year contract!

It cuts both ways. Mainly I feel bad for the kid because of everyone piling on him. (Ironic, given my bitching about Scoot, but even then my bitching is not about Scoot, it's about the Blazers FO. The bitching about Bronny is personal. Just let him struggle in anonymity like so many fringe players.)

Nobody likes spoiled rich kids getting what they don't deserve. Spoiled rich kids who are getting what they don't deserve have it coming.

No one forced him to go pro after one year of underwhelming college ball, and he and/or his dad didn't have to scare off other teams from drafting him for a chance to play together. He deserves all the grief he's getting, and then some.

But that’s just not going to happen. I believe the Lakers have the most national TV games. People will talk about him every time.

That “Parody “ account seems to make jokes that have some truth to them.
They just signed him to a 200 million dollar extension. Seems like if they wanted to move him, they'd have waited on that.

I’m here in Denver this week. Dozens of Nuggets fans I have spoken to have said they think he’s washed and wish that extension never happened.
Of course they are fans so can’t take that too seriously right?

Again, if they wanted to move him, the smart move would have been before the extension. I agree that they SHOULD look to move him. They can't sustain him, Jokic, MPJ, and a Gordon extension looming. But they DID extend him recently, which I believe makes him ineligible to be traded this year. So posting a parody account saying NOW would be a good time to start looking for a new home outside of Denver seems silly at best.

I think an argument could be made either way. If he was traded before the extension.... he would still want to get paid by his new team. At least now the team who trades for him knows he is locked up for an additional 4 years as opposed to making the trade and not being able to resign him. So they might get better offers now.

The dilemma is if he plays well they will want to keep him. (and maybe trade MPJ instead) But if he doesn't play well ....they are screwed.

D'Aaron Fox is no Jalen Brunson.

Kinda adding insult to injury after the whole "we didn't draft Luka AND we traded Halliburton because we were committed to you" thing.

This kind of surprised me: "Fox is going into his eighth season with the Kings" (time flies)

This did not surprise me:

ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Fox and his agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, have turned down a lucrative contract extension in order to position the All-Star point guard for a bigger deal next summer.
