Getting rid of an overpaid injury prone player for a valuable asset is not a win? I just need to make sure I get where you are coming from. Seems like a HUGE WIN for me.

what is the valuable asset that Portland got specifically for Little?

In case you're forgetting, Portland traded Dame and Nurkic. Any valuable assets that returned were because of those two players; not Little. He was just salary filler like Keon Johnson. I'm not even sure if his salary was necessary filler

It was all part of Joes master plan to screw over Miami!

I thought he was part of the Nurk/ayton deal?

Curious why this deal is so unique?

I assume that it'll makes him eligible for either UFA or supermax extension sooner than most young players on their second contract. The way I see it, he basically traded a bigger guarantee for earlier flexibility, gambling on himself for the potential of a much bigger 3rd deal.

Jesus god! Nobody ever complain about one of OUR contracts! 30MILLION A YEAR FOR THIS DUDE!

Troy Murphy contract was good for NO.

But the Sengun, Suggs, and earlier this summer Wagner extensions don't make any sense to me. They are being paid as though they are going to have massive improvements next year.

Just have them prove it and then sign them next summer. Young player often improve but many years they don't. There is no advantage for the team to guarantee such huge deals now without at least a little bit of a discount.

Completely agree.

Portland will be in that position with Sharpe next summer. Unless he plays at an All-NBA level for the season - Blazers are much better off to wait until he finishes off his 4th season.

***EDIT*** All these deals are making Deni's contract look like an absolute steal.

Sengun is the real deal.

Mikal Bridges RUINED His Jumper, Knicks Fans Need A Strong Stomach To Watch This!

on Mikal Bridges: "The hitch in his jumper now has a hitch in it's jumper."

So I truly believe we will see Bronny join his dad on the floor for a historic evening for the league and then that band aid will be ripped off. You might not ever see him again. Either headed to g-league or to the end of the bench to become a traffic cone in team practices. Not taking anybody of importance spot, so it is what it is.
