We had no answer for Davis offensively or defensively. They killed us during the season as well, except when AD was injured. We only beat them during the season because AD went down.

That team was a terrible matchup for us.

We didn't have enough talent on the team to overcome that bad matchup.
This is not true. We beat the Pelicans with AD in New Orleans in late March. Dame scored 41 points and then in the playoffs, he got shut down.

I thought Kanter helped a lot, but Hood was overrated. Hood had seemed good only by having a top coach, Quin Snyder. Olshey, who couldn't evaluate talent, just signed a well-known name.

I disagree with you, but I'm glad to see people disagreeing this time without snide cuts like, "Look at who you're responding to."
Hood was great for us. He won the 4OT game for us in the playoffs. He also scored 25 points on 12 shots in must-win Game 6.

Wemby took bad shot after bad shot last game. The skills are there, but this shouldn't be tolerated. If Pop senile, or is he kowtowing to VW?

Looks like former Blazer G leaguer Kevin Knox is finally going to go get a paycheck playing in Turkey after bouncing all around the G league and getting paid like a high school teacher.

You always have a sharp memory of individual games from long ago, so without looking it up, I'm sure you're right.

Hey, I represent that remark!

What do you teach?

Straighten up. Very important answer. It will determine whether I demote you to my 2nd-favorite poster. Answer correctly and I will relieve you of your Sir obligation, incurred in your previous answer to me.

I considered that, but it would come dangerously close to heads.

Computer graphics...it's too real for that, and some people get out of the way. That's evidence for a drone.

The old method was to put a rail on the ceiling and slide the camera, but looking forward there is no ceiling rail.

New theory: They flew a drone at half a mile per hour, so it wasn't dangerous a foot above people's heads. They play it in fast motion, so it looks like it's whizzing at hairtop level.

(I just invented that phrase, from treetop level. You can copyright it. It's yours.)

When Ben Mathurin came into the league he sure talked a big game. Like he was going to be the best player in the NBA.

pretty sure it was a drone....probably a POV drone with an expert pilot. Still, that's kind of dangerous because it was going fairly fast

I'm betting it was a DJI Avata drone because it has full propeller guards

You are a curious fellow. I currently sub K-12th, but I previously taught as an elementary teacher and most recently a post-high transitions teacher for neurodivergent students 18-21.

I am looking at taking a caregiving position or staying in education. I enjoy fulfilling work, though education is becoming more complicated these days.

Hope you have a good day :)

Interesting. Don’t think it’s going to happen necessarily, but interesting.

It's going to be fun when Golden State's ridiculously prolific offense meets OKC's ridiculously stingy defense.
