I have a love/hate relationship with Tony Allen... I'm loving what he is doing right now though, owning the "MVP"

Memphis is so disciplined on defense. They are in the right spot 90% of the time. They don't do anything fancy, just fundamentally sound... Unlike the Warriors who rely on chaos.I don't think anyone said we were.
The point I was making is that if MEM can hold the Warriors to 39 first half points, perhaps it isn't so shocking we had trouble scoring against them, that both Aldridge and Lillard had subpar performances against that same MEM defense.
BNM
No he didn't.
Gasol may have the most overrated offensive game ever. He airballs a ton....
I expect them to win in MemphisWarriors are in trouble. They may very well come back home with a 1-3 series deficit.
Who? Grizz or Warriors?I expect them to win in Memphis
Yeah he is.Wow Mike Conley is a hell of a point guard.

Tony Allen is so good at D...
Kingspeed has maintained that the Blazers would handle the Warriors because the Warriors can't handle our front line.
Although he may be a bit optimistic in that assessment, clearly the Warriors cannot hope to handle the Grizzlies front line.
The Griz were, IMO, our worst possible match up. I think the same could be said for the Warriors.
If the Warriors get out of this alive (I hope they do), they ... should....go....all....the....way! [/Howard Cosell]
It just goes to show you how a solid defensive team strategy can work. This is not about great individual defensive players. Sure some of them like Allen make a big difference, but like in San Antonio you see players who were not known for their D, step up for the Grizz. A couple of our fans could not comprehend how Zbo could defend LMA or why Dame could not blow by a "wounded" Conley. But you have to give props to Joerger, this is what they do. The guys has a system that even Vince Carter is effective in.
It's not pretty. I would much watch the Warriors in a free flowing, high scoring game, but the Memphis style works.
