Yeah, this is why if we ever do make a big trade, we can't give away the farm with future draft picks. (Like Morey wants)
A player can go down with an injury and you end up in the lottery with no picks and no way to get better.
It would be a franchise killer.

Most did last year and look what happened.
LeBron is one of the greatest ever to play the game but he has to admit he is not the same player as he was, Westbrook can dominate a game to a fault, Davis gets hurt a lot and the "Squad" he has right now is not going to benefit from having Melo out there 25-30 mins a game.
I will keep that "Narrative" all year and if they happen to win a Championship I will be highly impressed.
