Which means that at least three of them are going to be pissed at their minutes, while the rest of them are going to be thinking "how come I play as much as ____ but he's paid literally 20 times more?"
Nope, it means because they are SO old, they have quality depth over the course of a long season.

So you mean you HOPE that half of them are injured for the playoffs, because that's when they'll all want to play? Or that half of them have essentially retired and reckon this is a way to get a ring without having to play?

Had to read this a couple times…..still didn’t get it. Regardless sir, your hate for the team can’t keep you from realizing they finish ahead of us in the standings does it?

When you reach the age they're at, it's best not to make long term plans. I always told my Grandma - "don't buy green bananas"

Well sitting on the bench sucks

Not if you think of your legacy...
I’d rather have 50 million more in my bank account than accept a pennies on the dollar to play on a minimum contract on a contender…

most likely also on the bench

Seems like Love will not be bought out acc. to woj. He's stubborn imho. Nobody is going to trade for him so say hello end of the bench. He should take a vet min somewhere if he was smart.
How is taking way less money smart?

And will STILL finish with a better record then our Blazers.
Like they did last year? Oh wait. Lakers finished with the same record as us last year. In offseason, Blazers got better and the Lakers got worse. Don’t get me wrong. If this was 2010, Lakers would be biggest favorites of all time. Unfortunately for Lakers fans, it’s 2021 going on 2022.

And what does “contender” even mean? Were Nets a contender last year? They won one playoff series. I wouldn’t give up tens of millions for that.
