You said he'd never average 14... no mention of efficiency.

Some players improve efficiency fast.

Okay. Let me add a modifier: if somehow Zach Collins figures out a way to average 14+ (inefficient or not) a game, we are a lottery team.

Bro I have no clue what this even means. But I do know I haven't acknowledged you on here in almost a year. I told you last time to put me on ignore and please not include me in your posts. Don't LIKE my posts, don't respond. Stay the fuck clear of me. You and your whine crew just do your own thing and leave me out of it. This isn't passive aggressive or crying, this is communicating. I'm telling you to leave me the fuck out of your posts on here. Why would you say I think I'm special? I'm just flat out asking you to put me on ignore. You and the others make this place really hard to enjoy sometimes. And my mom recently died, so thanks for adding that at the end. Sly please handle your boy.
Sorry about your mother. That's awful.

He's pulling your shtick on you. You've chilled out a bunch lately, but you used to make fun of people for complaining about your shtick, and now it's all reversed.

Ah, thanks for enlightening me.

I usually don’t make mention of spelling and grammar errors because we all make them, and who gives a rip in a forum like this. But, since you asked...

The common error around here that bugs me most though is the use of the non-word “prolly”. People use it when they mean “probably “. I guess it’s just a case of writing it the way they hear it. Again, thinking about the root word, “probable”, would help to get it right.

Okay, I’m climbing down from my soapbox now.

Bro, it's soap box!

I don't buy the hype. Let's see him actually play at the college level. Can he shoot? Can he defend? Can he handle? Can he do anything more than dunk? Great that he's big and athletic, but he needs more than that to be worthy of a top-5 pick.

Bro, I hate Duke.... HATE Duke.... :smiley-195517897341

Seriously....?

I fucking hate Duke... :hater:

But I'm gonna root for this kid. His motor never stops.

He has solid, Turner esque handles. He needs to work on his right hand. He's still a kid and this video shows some of what he needs to work on, but bro... He's all muscle... What are they FEEDING this MF?????
He could be LeBron lite... Watch...

Shit man, it's like Shawn Kemp, Julius Randle, Antoione Walker and Sam Perkins all had a baby together. Actually scratch that, it's like Shawn Kemp had 2 babies and then combined them into one.

Is the NCAA changing their games to quarters instead of halves?

I say stuff like whatcha, gonna, amd gotcha, just because I say those things in real life.

In other words... I AIN'T FAKE!

That's a false correlation. He can be our 4th scorer down the road and contribute to a playoff team. There's enough volume available for our 4th scorer to get 14ppg.

His athleticism is insane: bulk/height/explosiveness, he's literally a 6'7" Shaq.

Size/bulk at the same age:

Shaq -- 7'1" 294 lbs
Zion -- 6'7" 285 lbs

Apparently Greg Monroe is working really hard on expanding his range to help Toronto space the floor this year. Why the fuck does it take him 8 years playing in the NBA to realize that he needs to improve his shooting?

I'll never understand why guys who can't shoot cost themselves millions or even a spot in the NBA by not fixing that issue.

If you're given 45 million over 4 years and you don't have to change your game, why would you?

That's true and definitely the reason in this case. I guess I would just have a different mindset because of how competitive I am.

My thinking is this. Unless you're Shaq in the paint, you aren't good enough to NOT improve your shooting.

When he was drafted the thinking was that a big man who could shoot was "soft" and "needed to get to the paint and stay there". There weren't any "stretch 5s" back then.

I'm not saying big guys need to shoot 3's but if you can't even shoot an elbow jumper or a baseline 10 footer then you're doing something wrong in the off season.

Wow, you just played the victim card about being called a victim. Man, you're good at that. I guess practice really does makes perfect.

No one attacked him - not once. His opinion and his post were both challenged, but the closest anyone came to "attacking" him was calling his opinion silly - and even he admitted he was "fucking around" (a.k.a. being silly).

BNM

He's just complaining because people don't think his brand of humor is funny
