While I understand the reference (how king used to say "learn the game, then post), the ability to read a graph isn't necessarily something that comes easy to everyone. Hell, I don't necessarily understand how to read the graphs.

But in the grand scheme of things, the ability to read those graphs don't mean shit.

I have replaced the timing belt on a car, along with the radiator, water pump, carburetor, overdrive, power steering pump, power steering rack, suspension, fuel tank, fuel tank sender, have re-done the entire interior of a car, replaced a harmonic balancer and many other car related repairs. I find it very easy to do that kind of stuff. But I don't think it makes me better or smarter than others (I just am...haha, that's for you tlong!).

My point? Just because you understand something doesn't mean others will or that you're better because of it. So instead of being snarky about it, maybe just don't.

Oh and I thought you guys had agreed to not interact with each other?

Would you prefer if we said, "that would be a funny post if directed to anyone else except someone with whom you've previously had repeated negative interactions"?

As the adage goes--"know your audience".

NBA refs again and again are the worst in all sports. How can you missed that Harden dunk? smh

Or a player only shoots 26% from the floor, yet STILL has the game to get 50?

I will never respect Harden as a scorer on the same level as a Jordan, Kobe, etc. Those players would never hurt their own team’s chance at winning in the playoffs to pad their stats. It has been years and this guy hasn’t figured out that you cant get the same calls in the postseason that you can get in the regular season. He has cost them series because of chasing calls. Their loss to us was directly linked to his ineffective flopping.

The Rockets want the loss last night to the Spurs to be overturned. They are upset about a bad call by the refs, who labled a dunk by Harden in the fourth an offensive interference after he dunked the ball so hard, it came out of the cyclander, hitting him before it went back in. The refs admitted they were erong on the call, but insist D'antoni failed to call a challenge in time.

The Rockets want to outcome of the game changed to a W for them or to replaythe last 7 and a half minutes of the game.

They should get neither. This isn't just because of my disdain for the Rockets, but every freaking team could point out bad calls and say change the out come of the game. The spurs could go point out bad calls in that game that gave the Rockets points too (and not just harden flops). Let the fans whine, and complain (that's what we do right?), the organization though should move on.

I don't think the call was basket interference, the call was that Harden missed the dunk, which was a ridiculously bad call. That kind of mistake is the reason for having replay, so it was a failure on top of a failure

I doubt the Rockets get any relief here. The NBA isn't going to overturn the win, and replaying the last 7 minutes would be absurd. But it's the NBA so who knows...

I need a numbers guy or whoever understands this chart to explain this to me........ I see Dame up there with the leagues best......but as many negative posts as Harden gets on here, is this a good thing? And look closely CJ is way at the end...... All I've heard on here is how bad of a season he is having, or is he up there because of so many minutes he's played?.....THE HCP is confused.

I think I can explain this one for you: CJ plays a lot of minutes but doesn't do much. Lillard plays a lot but accomplishes a lot. I'm not sure why you asked about Harden; he plays on a team we don't like, they are our competitors.

How many of those are:
  1. Objectively wrong (ie, not subject to judgment), and
  2. Legitimately took points off the board?
Now, I'm not saying a game replay is deserved--they were up double-digits at the time and blew the lead--but I think it's an important distinction to make between this "bad call" and most others.

There was a backcourt violation in this game that didn't get called, it was objectively wrong and was advantage Rockets. There are a lot of "subjective" calls in basketball I get that, but probably a couple times a game, someone is or isn't out of bounds, or there's a lane violation not called, etc. Yeah, this was a bad call, but replaying it and all that stuff their arguing for is just kind of silly IMO.

Kinda missed the other half of my list...

Still, like I said, replaying the final 8 minutes would be ridiculous.

I didn't miss it, just not sure how I could quantify how many times it takes points off the board. I'm not sure we have stats for that.

Imagine if that Rockets and Spurs game was a playoff game... lol NBA refs should be fine or suspended as well like the players if they made a mistake.

Rockets scored on this possession.
Should two points be taken off the board for the Rockets?

This is the same fanbase that wanted the .9 shot replayed because the clock didn't start as soon as the ball left Batum's hands. They didn't realize play starts when it touches a player on the court of play.
At the end of the day if the Rockets fanbase wants to blame anyone for the loss.
Blame their Head coach.
NBA rules state you have 30 seconds to challenge a call. Instead he was bitching about it during the time out and the 30 seconds passed.
But no Rockets think the world is against them especially the NBA.
I mean the NBA caved after pressure from China to fire their beloved GM. Of course the NBA is against Houston.

Rockets fan much?
