I'm not the biggest fan of Harden's game either but he's an MVP-caliber scorer and a better defender than CJ. An upgrade on almost every level. Plus Dame can keep his ego in check and would you REALLY turn down a team with Dame, Harden, Nurk, and the supporting pieces? I wouldn't.
I dont think houston is in teardown mode. And if they were they'd want young guys on cheap deals. Not CJ. Your idea makes no sense for wither team

Sadly for you and happily for me, it will never happen.

Holy fucking shit, no way! Nurk, Gary and Nas along with CJ... why in the world would we do that when Harden still has the same redundancies that cause Dame and CJ to be problematic offensively and he is still not a plus defender? I am not fucking kidding that I wouldn't trade the potential and current knowns of Nurk, Gary and Nas for Harden's knowns if it were possible disregarding salaries, straight up. No way on earth do I do that deal.

Shows how big a difference their is in the value of Lillard and Westbrook.

If we got a broken PG with undoubtedly the worst contract and a lottery protected first in return for Damian, my guess is half of the season ticket holders would give up their tickets.

I'm not sure whether I would or not. However, it's a reasonable trade for one of the all time greats without giving up draft picks.
Nas won't play, Gary will only play some, and some think he'll get PAID.

"Potential", hmmm.

I mean, you can argue fit all you want, but Harden by himself is a 60% win rate team.

NBA Reports 48 Positive COVID-19 Tests
December 2nd 2020 at 5:05pm CST by Arthur Hill
The first round of the NBA’s coronavirus testing produced 48 positive results out of 546 tests, tweets Shams Charania of The Athletic. The initial testing phase was November 24-30.

The league expected to encounter some COVID-19 cases as players return to their team’s city and re-enter the NBA’s cohesive health and safety protocol, Charania adds (Twitter link). Positive results were also reported at the same stage leading up to the restart in Orlando.

All players who tested positive will have to be isolated, according to a tweet from the National Basketball Players Association. They can’t be cleared until they meet the rules established by the league and the NBPA under guidance from the CDC.

We know two of those positive tests came from the Warriors who announced Tuesday that they will delay the start of training camp activities for a day because of two cases of COVID-19.

The league distributed a 134-page “Health and Safety Protocol Guide” last week to help teams mitigate the dangers from the virus and prepare for the disruptions that positive tests might cause.

Why not release the names?

Is it safe to say it's none of the Blazers that are currently in market? (Only leaves Melo and Nurk I think)

Da fuq? Teams will have 5 fewer home games than in the past. That is $5 mil in lost revenue. Their number ( losing $36 mil) makes no sense.
No fans in any games and shorter schedule! $41 million in lost gate revenue. That doesn’t include concessions and jerseys, sweatshirts, etc etc.

Why? They’re going to suck
Bro, because I love hoops! Watching him and Beal run up and down the court launching shots will be entertaining as hell. Don't care who wins. Just like back in the 90s, I loved watching those shitty Warriors teams. They were just a blast to watch. Look forward to watching the Hornets and Ball as well. Like a summer league game.

Run TMC

I’m happy to watch Westbrick scrubbing it up on a bunk ass team. He probably wanted to go east because he has nightmares of Lillard.

im a hoops junky too. Nerd out any chance I’m given.

I don't think they're done. I don't see Wall and Harden as complementary anymore than Harden and Russ but maybe they do. I still think they're gong to struggle but we won't have to wait long to see.

Harden wanted Wall. Rockets are doing the trade in a bid to keep Harden in Houston.

99% sure that's a regulation court. You can see the NBA 3pt line...

Its a practice court. Its looks smaller

I don't know. The space between the 3pt line and halfcourt looks pretty close to me.

Yeah, I was looking back at that. You only see the three point line for a second. It looked closer than an NBA 3pt line at first.

I'm glad to be wrong though. That is a hell of a shot. Did he even leave his feet?

so...a 9% positivity rate when practices haven't even started yet and teams aren't traveling

this might be a ragged season

Will be curious to see if re-infection starts to happen.

There was already a similarly high number of players that had it before the bubble. Guessing players got it between the bubble and now that was not reported. That makes for a good portion of players that have been exposed.
