I think you know how this works... it's the beginning of the season with an incredibly short preseason, an off season that had rules about when guys could workout at team facilities and an off season that came to a close a lot quicker than these guys thought it would. You combine those things with the fact that play is always erratic at the beginning of the season and it makes the sky is falling crew look like a bunch of knee jerk fools.

Sometimes I think I can't blame these guys though because national media is so mercurial that why would I expect fans that don't give their takes a lot of thought to be less fickle. This doesn't apply to everyone who was venting and will vent, mostly the guys that will stick to it in the face of better play citing the first game of the season to justify their pessimism.
