I’ve watched a lot more hoops of random teams this year than I have the past couple years. And I’ve concluded that teams have a lot more weapons than we do. Our weapons offensively are limited. The instant offense off the bench type guy who can often times be a journeyman is one of the more underrated parts of the NBA. We don’t have that guy. Someone needs to keep up the scoring slack when our starters go out.
Which is why I said in September our bench lacked talent for these 55 game win projections.

For those of you still pissed about last night... imagine if that was every night and then you'll feel like a Mavs fan. Those guys have lost so many close games that they lead in.

WOW what a play by the Bucks. Blazers need that last night

Listening to the Greek Freak's post game interview I can't help but think about when that possible trade demand was on the table before they got Jrue. Fuck... that would have been great to pair him with Dame somehow. (Dame had an interview that just went up on YouTube with GQ and he said that out of everyone in the league that he'd choose Giannis to come here and help him win a title)

Oh you don’t like seeing stats and updates from around the league IN the around the league thread?

For those of you still pissed about last night. Try meeting another human being and get a life. Or at least a hobby.

If we wanted a stream from "statmuse", we'd follow it on Twitter.
I thought this thread was for all things around the league. I’m posting legit stats. What are you criticizing and why are we having this conversation? What am I doing wrong?

I was about to call you lazy because you didn't just share the statmuse Twitter account. Apparently that's not possible on this platform:

Ahhh there u go. I like the realistic you

incomplete context....in this case it's who is posting the stats about the same players, over and over and over
Ahhhh, so you don't like seeing stats on players that are playing at a HOF level. Time for you to get out of the AROUND THE NBA thread son.

Thinking ahead to this trip, have the three teams in Texas ever been this bad? Dallas is .500 and SA & Houston are at the bottom conference.

I remember comments from years ago about how difficult it had always been to run the Texas Triangle unscathed. Might not be so rare this season.

Somebody start a poll about if we’re going to go UNDEFEATED on this trip or not.

Apparently a lot of GMs are expecting the Raptors to trade somebody soon. They're hovering around .500 and last in the league in half-court points. But they're not looking to trade the players everyone wants, like OG and Barnes. Fred VanVleet has forgotten how to shoot since the all-star break last year, and it sounds like the coach has given up on Trent. Obviously, if Siakam became available, we'd be interested, but I don't know if they want another undersized gunner from us. It occurs to me that the Heat and Raptors should swap Lowry and VanVleet. Lowry always said he wanted to retire a Raptor, and Pat Riley has a past of rehabilitating undersized gunners who looked past it (Tim Hardaway). Meanwhile the Heat are also pretty underwhelming, and Riley has saddled them with a bunch of crappy contracts (like Robinson). However, he's as good at unloading those contracts as he is at handing them out (see Juwan Howard, e.g.)

Can’t help but be happy for CJ and Zion. Impressive back to back victories against the Suns. Now they have Jazz, Jazz, Suns, Bucks.

Nance Jr. steps over Craig. Must see highlight.
