Just a coincidence that this is the first year in 30 without Stern at the helm? I really don't know what to think, but this has definitely been the best first round I've ever seen.
 
According to Chuck/Shaq/Kenny, you can now kick a white guy in the head on the court, so long as they think it's an "accident."

All but the last 1/4 of the NBA season was a playoff for teams in the Western conference, and teams starting with the Blazers in the seeding were still sweating out even making the playoffs with 6 games left.
 
Anyone interested in nba playoff minutes played and their correlation to wasted cap space? I just thought about that while taking a leak...the blazers are probably one of the more efficient teams in this regard. My intuition tells me that the Brooklyn nets would be first, or close to it. The rockets might be high on that list as well...

Blair kicked Splitter in the head after being called for a foul while both were on the ground. TNT's trio all sat Blair was just mad about the foul, and that kicking Splitter in the head was an honest mistake. Blair ended up getting kicked out, but he was defended for it by the announcers.

Maybe some bad blood there from when he was a Spur, or how they cut him loose :dunno:

Honestly, he should be suspended for the rest of the playoffs. Kicking someone in the head could kill them.

I don't know about suspension for the rest of the playoffs, but definitely multiple games. It is approaching Ron Artest dangerous/sociopathic.

I didn't think it was that bad. I think Splitter rolled up on his legs unneccesarily. My first reaction would be to kick somone off of me, too. He didn't stop and think. Assess a flagrant and move on.
 
This is what happens when you cross swords with another dude... Side note; the bitch they double teamed has to be like a hallway now... How do you recover from a 7'2 and 6'9 black man on the same night?
 
Considering how competitive these playoffs have been with both 8th seed teams taking series leads at one point, and ATL in good position to knock out Indy, do you think the NBA should still have the 16 best records in the playoffs?

I don't think it was to kick him off though. It doesn't look like he was ever on Blair in the first place. Although to be honest, I'm not sure Blair even touched Splitter.

I can't remember this many series being this tight in the first round. We just got down here to Houston a few hours ago. We just got offered tickets to go to the Houston Astros baseball game and I told them to fuck off with that shit......there is playoff hoops to be watched! #NBA>MLB

Those weren't tickets. They were contracts, the Astros are looking for any and all Latin men.
 
Yeah, I can see HCP standing up at the front of everyone else, as they're behind him, and he's like "Fuck no to your baseball tickets," like he's a bad-ass. Meanwhile, feeling tough and proud, he finally turns around and notices everyone else has already left and gone their own ways.

I don't care about you but don't let the players get distracted by a bunch of BS down there. That seems like a set up.
