Game 1, sas vs blazers
I like the way you think, wouldn't it likely be on Monday though?

Are you serious? You predicted all this? It's been the most unpredictable playoffs ever. You think the NBA made Durant step up tonight? He did it on his own.
I think it's predictable that magically all these series are going to six and possibly seven games. The NBA gets money off ad revenue. Seven game series generate a TON of ad revenue. It also extends the length of the playoffs, which was the whole point behind making the first round 7 games instead of 5.
I think it's highly questionable that virtually every series has gone six or seven games.
This. It's so annoying. I'm sure that comes from on high.
Because the crew is neutral.....they could care less of its a good call or not. They can use that time to run promos instead.

A good lesson for the Blazers. When you have a good team down, you put them out. Now, both ATL and MEM have to try to win Game Seven on the road. They had those teams down (MEM lost a Game Four they should have won).
Let's hope Game Five didn't give Houston too much life.
Roy Hibbert became 2nd player in NBA history w/ consecutive scoreless playoff games after making All-Star team that same season.@EliasSports
It seems to me, like the NBA had a big fix to get lots of money, and drag out the series.
Paul George walked on the court from the bench during a scuffle tonight. By letter of NBA rules, he should be suspended for Game 7. Remember when the Knicks had players suspended for a Game 7 against Miami, when the players barely went on the floor?
Adam Silver is having a trial by fire here in his first playoffs as commissioner. Wow.

Another month has ended, and AGAIN I must remind the moderators of THEIR OWN RULE that this thread is closed at the end of the month.
INCOMPETENTS.
Thus, why the addendum "Playoffs" were put in. It covers it all!![]()
You don't need a conspiracy for 6 and 7 game series. Fact is, the NBA has more parity. It's no longer 2 really good teams, a bunch of fairly good teams and a lot of crappy ones. Clippers/Warriors both have really good shooters. Not surprising they are back and forth. With favored teams winning Game 6's on the road, we are just seeing what we expect, they may slip but they won't fall, probably.
Let's hope for a 6 game Portland/Houston series.
BTW, what was that deer in the headlights look Atlanta got? They had the game all but won.
Splitter has shot 12 FTs in this game.
Parker traveled.
