Looks like Cleveland, as they did with Love, over-value their assets or just don't understand how the NBA works. I don't think they will find a trade partner for Drummond, so they might as well just buy him out now. They are doing the right thing though to just start Allen and play him as much as possible.

Although this guy has an idea:
Yossi Gozlan:" $22.9M is the magic number to match salaries for Andre Drummond. Norman Powell, Aron Baynes, one of Patrick McCaw or Stanley Johnson, and one minimum contract gets them there. This framework would put the Raptors over the luxury tax and leave them with 11 players."
But why would Toronto even want to give up Powell for Drummond? Not to mention this costs them about $7 million extra this year.

Anthony Davis might be out a long time. Achilles injuries are no joke.

The way they were talking about this on the ESPN broadcast last night, it's a chronic issue, and all I could think about as they described it was Brandon Roy.

Not exactly the same thing, but they were talking about cartilage deteriorating in his ankle.

9. Portland Trail Blazers
2020-21 record: 16-10
Previous ranking: 12

It was Dame Time in Big D, with Damian Lillard serving up one dagger missile after another to finish off the Mavericks on Sunday. Quietly, the Blazers have won four straight and six of their past seven and are settling into the top six of the West. With all the attrition the Blazers have battled already this season -- injuries to Jusuf Nurkic, CJ McCollum and Zach Collins -- to be in the upper half of the West is an accomplishment. And it begs the question: At fourth in the league in scoring, ninth in assists and maybe first in leadership, shouldn't Dame be in the MVP conversation by now? --Young

As he should. Look what happened to Rodney Hood when his Achilles were sore and our dumbass let him keep playing. Lakers need to rest AD as long as possible so that thing doesn’t tear

East vs. West: 55-93 = 37%
If the Blazers had the same record that they have, but were in the East, they'd be #2 instead of #5 in the West.

37% is the winning percentage of a lottery team :)

The West is Brutal again this year.
Unfortunately, it seems we'll be playing a ton of Western Conference teams going forward. Seven of our next nine are against teams in the West but I don't know if that evens things out enough because right now we have played half of our games against teams in the East.

The Bucks who blew us out by 30 just a few games ago? Those Bucks?
You mean the Bucks that are in the EAST and have the MVP and a healthy roster? Or Boston, with the next great coach sent from above and a healthy roster with young gems on the rise who also play in the EAST? We can all play that game. It ain't just the coach son. EVER!

Go stack up our wins against playoff teams compared to our wins against lottery teams. We CAN play this game all day.

The number of times we have been absolutely laughed off the floor against playoff teams is much much greater than the number of wins we have against playoff teams.

You enjoy this, I don't. This is your game, not mine. I could give a fuck how we lose or win a game. It goes into the proper column and is no different then any other at the end of the season.
Once again, my favorite team is basically missing 3 starters and we keep scratching and clawing to get some Ws. I'm happy.
I don't "stack wins", I enjoy them.

And yet you're the one true White Knight to rush in and defend Terry or the team. Come on bro. Come on. Either you're lying to yourself or you're trolling. This is EASILY your favorite game on this forum.

Wins and losses won't matter as much as who those wins are against. Guess who isn't going to be in the postseason? Sacramento. Cleveland. Houston. Chicago. Orlando. TWolves.

Guess who will be in the playoffs? Utah. Denver. Spurs. Clippers. Bucks. Pacers. Etc.

If you can't consistently beat the playoff teams, you're going to get fucking smashed in the postseason.

Ok here's some stats about our record so far:

Out of our 16 wins, only the Lakers, Warriors, and Sixers have a winning record. So 5 wins are against teams with a winning record.

9 wins have come against the Eastern Conference.

In our 10 losses, if you exclude the close ones to shitty teams like the Bulls, Knicks, and Thunder we have lost by the following margins

22-5 Jazz - 20 point loss
21-8 Clippers - 23 point loss
14-13 Warriors - 15 point loss
14-13 Pacers - 24 point loss
16-11 Spurs - 21 point loss
16-11 Bucks - 28 point loss

So aside from beating the Lakers early in the season and proving that we seem to have the answer for the Sixers, we have been absolutely embarrassed any time we have gone against a true playoff team like the Jazz, Clips, Pacers, Spurs, or Bucks. This team has had some really good success lately, but we need to prove we can beat the good teams in the league.

We don’t yet know what teams are playoff teams. Too early.

It's always the same every year.

The Blazers suck.. Then they win a game.
The Blazers can't play the right kind of offense. No flow. Then they start winning and scoring well.
The Blazers can play offense but their defense sucks. Then they start playing better defense.
The Blazers can't put together any dominant wins. Then they blow a couple teams out.
The Blazers aren't winning the right way. Then they win with good defense and nice all around scoring with 6 players in double figures.

Now it's The Blazers aren't beating the right teams.

You can please some of the people some of the time but you will never please all of the people all the time.
Relax and enjoy the season.
This is all Entertainment. S2 is entertainment!

Out of the Lakers' 21 wins, only 4 have come against teams with a winning record. 5 of their 7 losses have come against WC playoff teams based on current standings.

What's their SOS?

Does that mean they're 4-5 against winning teams?

Not taking away from what you said, how many Blazer wins have come at the expense of winning teams?
