Remember Lonzo in the bubble? It had the opposite effect on him than it did on Jamal Murray. Plus Lowry brings in a championship aura. They're trying to convince Zion they're serious.only if they renounce Josh Hart and Lonzo.
Replacing those two with Lowry seems like a lateral move to me. Ball really came on last year once he figured out how to shoot.
Also:Woj just called JV a floor spacer. lol wut?
Dude shoots less than half a three a game in his career.
I got no problem with that... unless we match it.New Orleans almost has max capspace now. I hope they don't throw a huge offer at Powell if they lose out on Lowry.
Fire Stotts!Let it go……he’s not our coach anymore……let it go.
They just got rid of a guard who averaged thirty minutes a game for them in Bledsoe. They're on the fence about Ball. So I would say that this deal puts them in the conversation for CJ more than ever.FIRST DOMINOOOOOOO
On the trade itself. I think that takes New Orleans out of the CJ conversation. Interesting deal for them. Jonas has the same problem with Zion that Adams does.
...which was the last time he was good. (And yes, the "he" in my sentence could apply equally to Bledsoe AND Olshey.)he's an olshey favorite. neil used to rave about him back when they were in LA.
Both contracts expire in two seasons respectivelythis trade from memphis perspective is all about that pick, they have set their sight on someone
they keep on building the team, thats why they can afford to have bledsoe and adams whos contracts expire in two and one season respectively, but they can trade them to get something
theyre probably gonna draft a forward or a center, depending on jaren jackson jr

eh?Deals being made. Take notice there Mr. 9 years and still haven't moved the needle.

So if CJ is part of a deal to bring back a frontcourt impact player, who do you like more. Simmons, (defense & playmaking), or Ingram ( fantastic offensive talent)? Wow! What a potential decision. Simmons makes the Blazers lineup incredible on defense, assuming Powell would re-sign. Nurk, Simmons, RoCo, Powell, and Dame. But Ingram's talent would allow for more easy baskets in the post. And an excellent mid range talent.
Anyone else get the feeling there may be a wink wink nod nod, deal between Philly and Tor. Package Siakim and Lowry for Simmons, Curry and Hill.
Personally I don’t think Simmons makes sense for them with Suggs on the wayAnyone else get the feeling there may be a wink wink nod nod, deal between Philly and Tor. Package Siakim and Lowry for Simmons, Curry and Hill.

Maybe they go with Barnes and run 4 6’8”-6’10” guys out there and dare anyone to score. They would be so great on the break. Adding in Trent and a couple shooters would be braking the mold.Personally I don’t think Simmons makes sense for them with Suggs on the way

Do you think Lowry is legitimately expecting 30M/yr though? Who's actually going to pay him that? That seems like it would make sense for all parties involved, particularly if you believe reports that Lowry is leaning Philly. Problem is Lowry would definitely have to take a paycut if he's expecting 30M/Year on the open market. That trade hardcaps Philly, and if Lowry is being paid 30M a year, the Sixers would be at 140M with 9 roster spots filled. 3 million left to fill 5 spots which is impossible.
