Fun yet irritating fact.

No Western Conference team outside of California or Texas has won the title since 1979 (Seattle)
Well, almost half the western conference is in those two states, so it's not that surprising I guess.

Not (NBA) but I feel like if Trevor Bauer starts on Sunday, the Blazers are gonna get bailed out of the news articles on the national level.

U telling me a healthy lakers, nuggets and or clippers team wouldn't take out the suns
Suns have played well and deserve recognition. It hasn’t been handed to them even if teams have been injured.

Suns swept the same nuggets team we almost got swept by.

Still my Money is on the bucks though. Not literally because I haven’t placed anything but I’m thinking I might tonight.

Connaughton is the last former Blazer standing in the playoffs, right?

I believe so...Nic Batum was just knocked out with the Clippers, Will Barton knocked out with Denver and Wes went out like us in the first round

Yes or No? Batum comes back to PDX with Chauncey on minimum salary?

Man if every team are healthy… what if? Davis and Lebron, Jamaal Murray, Kawhi, Kyrie, Trae and Giannis.

That news is dying fast on a national level anyway. ESPN hired Chauncey, the Clips did and now we did. So people have had their say about it being wrong and they will move on because Chauncey isn't a serial offender so their is literally only one story for them to draw from. The well is running dry. He will give more interviews when camp starts and people will see more and more of what they got during the intro news conference... all class.

What I got from the game tonight is that when a team loses their ball-dominating star, that a lot of other guys get in a groove, and that there is more passing. The same thing happened with Atlanta in game 4 when they played without Young. But I think Milwaukee has a better supporting cast than Atlanta, so their team ball was able to overcome Atlanta's team ball tonight.

That Dave deckard fella thinks Beverly should get a year long suspension for his push on Paul, just in case you’re on the fence on taking anything he says serious.

I figured he’d have shut down that site after the Billups hire.

Or, perhaps he was exploiting sexual assault victims for clicks and now will pretend his libel of Billups never happened as he still seems to be following the team.

What a man of principle. So courageous.

Has not happened yet.
I could go there and ask this question? However my membership there might be very short if i do as i understand?

Should i word it just like you have it here?

I could even include the question about his principles if that makes the comment a bit more appealing?

Always a bit of luck in a championship. Injuries, favorable matchups, someone gets hot at the right time. But few accidental champions, especially in pro basketball and baseball. NFL and college hoops are one and done so while exciting one bad game by a key player is lights out. Multiple rounds of playoffs with multiple games, come out of that on top and it's legit.

Guess no one told Dame and Lebron how boring WNBA is.

1. that's a damn good offer, i think brogdon woulda been perfect for that team.

2. i put CJ's value around the same as Brogdon, maybe a bit higher for CJ given his ceiling in games without Dame.

3. is this coming from Morey to increase demand?

Brogdon is $10 million cheaper than CJ and plays actual defense. I wonder if the Pacers want to swap Brogdon and Lamb for CJ? The numbers work.

Brogdon isn't a good defensive player, and from what I've read and heard around the league people value CJ as a better player at the very least.

But yeah, I'm sticking to my assumption that a 1:1 swap won't happen. I think we need to add at least 2 firsts.

Looking at their stats, CJ is a better scorer. There's no doubt in my mind that CJ could have been an All-Star if he hadn't gotten hurt and definitely would have been one in the east.

I really don't understand how Simmons fits with the Pacers though.

I don't think CJ is nearly as good as some of you; he'll never be an all-star IMO

but the filters I use for gauging CJ may not be the filters another team's front office uses for the gauges. For instance, the main filter I use is the poor fit between Dame and CJ. Not many teams have a main player like Dame

the main issue is if Olshey would actually shop CJ to other teams; or will he do what he has done for 9 years and that's try and cheap-screw & dumpster-dive Portland into a contender. That hasn't worked before...no rational reason to think it will work now

I don't agree. He put up All-Star numbers last year. He just happens to play in the west. You put him on NY or Philly and magically he's an All-Star.
