Man watching these teams Blazers are NOWHERE near competing in any western conference playoffs. Like I been saying I wish we just kept our lottery pick

PG is an absolute ELITE #2 in the right environment. I watched him closely in indy for a while. He's a follower if there ever was one and needs a nurturing environment with a guy who would be in his ear being positive. the only leader he's played with who he could play off of was Russ and he had MVP numbers with him. Kawhi and he are clunky fit-- lot like Dame & CJ.In a heartbeat, I'd take Playoff P for CJ. Get the guy a sports psychologist or just understand that his jumper isn't what you rely on in the playoffs. You still have his D and athletic ability to get to the hole. Hopefully you have a breakthrough though, especially since he's never had a teammate with the kind of positivity Dame brings.
He isn’t even good defensively anymore. He is getting cooked. You watching? He’s not even closing out on 3s. It’s actually funny. Just search Twitter. In a heartbeat, I'd take Playoff P for CJ. Say what you want about Paul George but holy shit he sucks in the playoffs
I stopped watching but when I left PG was I think 2-13 so I can see why someone wouldn’t pass him the ballSay what you want Leonard should have passed it to him instead of Morris.
There is absolutely no "might" about it. Paul George has serious performance anxiety issues. You don't have the type of fall off the guy does without a reason. He misses too many shots that he makes in the regular season whenever he plays in the playoffs. Cliff Robinson albeit not as big of a star, really failed to show up for us in the playoffs and it got a lot worse when he became our number one guy.PG might legitimately have psychological performance issues. he shuts down when there is pressure and knows it, and knows basketball fans are just waiting for it to happen.
Look at his three point shooting and just jump shooting in general. He's a smart player and he tries to make up for it by getting to the line and hoop more but his jump shot just isn't the same (and it's even more apparent watching the games and seeing how far off a lot of his misses are in the playoffs).I was curious about all the 'Paul George sucks in playoffs' stuff:
PER: regular season 19.4....playoffs 17.7
TS%: regular season .568....playoffs .560
FT Rate: regular season .300....playoffs .383
Reb Rate: regular season 10.5%....playoffs 10.7%
assist rate: regular season 17.6%....playoffs 18.3%
winshares/48: regular season .153....playoffs .135
BPM: regular season 4.1....playoffs 3.7
I'm seeing some fall-off, but I don't see the drastic fall-off like being talked about here. There's always more defensive resistance in the playoffs so a drop in efficiency and shooting percentages is pretty normal. Happens to Dame and CJ too. In the playoffs, PG increases his FT's, rebounding and assists.
I've always thought the narrative of him choking in the playoffs was kind of exaggerated. The numbers tend to confirm that
Or you could say Seth had played well enough that he commanded too large a contract. Dallas had the money. Of course he isn't playing there any longer either. I'm betting Luka right now wishes he had Seth as well.Olshey had us in a corner where we couldn't. Also don't think he would have wanted to as Stotts and the rest of the team didn't utilize him enough.
Exactly!I would like the comment but I don't agree. Who among us knows every fucking good player in the league. It's not like Grant is some stalwart all star. I enjoy your takes... so don't change your signature.
Were you even around 8 years ago? Were you watching and following this team 10 years ago?Man Donovan Mitchell is having so much playoff success so fast in his career. This was the trajectory Dame was suppose to have. Fucking shame

Some of these people don't have know clue what's he brings to the table. If you’re interested, Collins had 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 blocks in Game 6 against the Nuggets in 2019. I think it’s safe to say he would’ve helped this time. He’s certainly better than RHJ.
Could that be because he's always eating takeout? Some of these people don't have know clue what's he brings to the table.
Dude, Aldo isn’t even half way through high school. He wasn’t old enough to really watch them play……Were you even around 8 years ago? Were you watching and following this team 10 years ago?
Does the Name Wesley Mathews ring a bell?
Lamarcus Aldridge?
How about Nic batum?
Have you ever heard of Robin Lopez?
Did you ever hear of a guy named Brandon Roy?
Here is a real history maker. Greg Oden?
I think it was: Ben Anderson: Bojan Bogdanovic on having 18K @Utah Jazz fans back in Vivint Arena: “It’s probably the loudest crowd that I played in front of here in NBA even when we were down.”Is this the loudest crowd noise so far this season?
