Not watching today's games. I need a break. I can watch Rachel and then the A's.

they gave up Bledsoe and 35 year old George Hill, plus a 24th pick and a couple of pick swaps several years out. That isn't the high price you're implying, That's especially true considering how often you pump up CJ's value around here. Now you're saying CJ doesn't have the value of Bledsoe and Hill?
You're forgetting that they also gave up unprotected 1sts in 2025 and 2027. Bledsoe had value and Hill is an extremely good role player.

We also didnt have control over any of our future 1sts at the trade deadline. They're backing up the Houston protection.

I don't pump up CJs trade value? I constantly question people that trash his game but act like he has enormous trade value.

Wrong. They traded the 24th pick, 2025 and 2027 UNPROTECTED firsts, and 2024 and 2026 unprotected pick swaps, as well as a really good role player in George Hill. Eric Bledsoe had some value last year too.

so then, Milwaukee has traded 3 firsts for Holiday, while Portland has traded 4 firsts for Collins and RoCo who have combined to score 17 points in this playoffs. Oh, and the Bucks traded a couple of pick swaps that very likely won't be exercised. When everything is said and done, Portland gave up a 15th, 20th, 16th, and 23rd picks for RoCo and Collins while all three of the Bucks pick could easily be lower than the 23rd pick Portland will give up in June.

To this point, the missed-players opportunity cost for Portland includes a 'pick-3-or-4-combo' of Bam Adebayo, Donovan Mitchell, John Collins, OG Anunoby, Jarret Allen, Thomas Bryant, Dillon Brooks, Saddiq Bey, Immanuel Quickley, Desmond Bane, Payton Pritchard, and Theo Maladon

I know which team is getting the most from their traded picks and it isn't the team West of the Rockies. At least the Bucks' GM isn't afraid to swing for the fences while going big-time in the risk/reward game. Meanwhile, Olshey plays it safe while Dame's greatness cover his backside

I like RoCo but he will never alter a team's trajectory like Holiday can

Kyrie can't handle the Boston fans, needs to burn more sage juju :blessed:

You know how u know blazers suck. We tried to avoid the clippers and prayed for the nuggets lmao

Could’ve had Portland instead but nooo let’s tank for Dallas - Clippers fans

If Clippers lose this series, watch Ballmer to sign more players for next year. If Blazers lose this series, nothing will happen

why not, he has more money that he can spend it
As far as what it costs to operate an NBA team, our owner could spend the absolute most money possible in luxury tax and not blink an eye. The trust is still worth over 20B... yeah that's less than 1/3 of Ballmer's net worth but both amounts make NBA costs look silly. It's just a matter of ownership wanting to spend the money and I also think it's a matter of how close to actually winning a championship the different owners feel their team is.

Our team was only trying to avoid the play-in, which it might very well have lost out of. So we were avoiding the lottery... as much as you'd have liked us to be in it.

And as u can see that would have been better

Clippers loose thus series first think he will is fire Frank ass and throw Lue out.

Randle is having a bad post-season. It's too bad, the Nicks are the feel-good story of the season. Bright future though. I imagine plenty of FA will be interested in NYN next season.

...the crazy thing is the Knicks as a whole shot so poorly tonight that even the fixed NBA refereeing couldn't save them -- check this out, they shot 30 FTA. Meanwhile, the home team Hawks, only shot 8 total FTA.

SOUND FAMILIAR?!?!?! :dunno:

I don't root for my team to lose but a pick in this draft would have given us another valuable piece to try and upgrade this roster with.

Exactly what I advocated the last 2 months of the season. I knew this would happen in the playoffs. I don’t know how else to warn ya. I knew this. Blazers don’t got it. But rebuilding will be fun. Atleast there’s hope to find a “Luka”.. Regardless it’s Better than rooting for this shit franchise going nowhere

Tatum another 50 points against a super team without Jaylen Brown. I bet Campazo can guard him

Richard Jefferson might take the cake as the whitest brother ever and things are getting chippy in this Dallas/Clips game and he says “might wanna take that back witchyu”. It easily restores his street cred.

haha I dunno. Maybe had to be there but it was hilarious
