Lamelo Ball. Partially because of him, partially because the media is already obsessed with him. Doncic isnt a bad pick either.
Mostly not his fault. But the media tends to like focusing on guys like Ball/his family, etc. Kardashian effect. I can’t stand the guy.Well the media thing isn't his fault.
I actually find him fun to watch. Just as long as I watch it on anything other than the Hornets broadcast lol

Sports teams appreciate in value (obviously) so quickly and have been guaranteed to make a little money every year for decades. The NBA is popular. That's why I don't buy all of this "Blazers For Sale" shit. If Jodie wanted to cash in the value of this team it would be a huge amount of money probably over 2B. So that's a great investment for the ARod group.https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...minnesota-timberwolves-15-billion-per-reports
The Timberwolves, of all teams, are now worth $1.5B? I need a minute to let that sink in. That's like a billion dollars for every time they've made the playoffs.

Except the sports team bubble has literally never burst. Maybe it's because owners are so rich that they never have to sell when it would be a loss but it's never happened in basketball. In the near 30 years that Paul Allen/his trust has owned the team they went from 70M to ~2B. That's like thirty times or a 3000% return on investment. An ira over thirty years assuming the market does really well, which unlike NBA teams the stock market hasn't always done well, would yield 800M over thirty years on a 70M investment. So you see, it is a great investment. People aren't going to stop watching sports... their just not going to. The fact that there are competing interests out there has been way more than offset by the increase in population. That's like betting on the housing market to always go up no matter what, and buying in at a high point in a sketchy neighborhood that'll take ten years to get back to that level if the area develops the way you hope.
The Timberwolves are only a good investment if the new ownership group thinks they can turn the franchise around. Perpetual doormats shouldn't be selling for near big-market prices. The Clippers look like a serious bargain all of a sudden. Anyone know where Minny ranks in terms of profitability?

For a little perspective on the Wolves, they sold for 152M in 1994.
Yeah... Minny is terrible and still a fantastic investment. You're ignoring the part about Minny being a failure of a franchise. Portland has long been among the more profitable ones.
I would like to see this graph with CJ on it? Funny thing CJ doesn't get many calls good or bad? Here is a chart of incorrect calls in last two minutes since 2015. Appears Lillard had about 30 calls in that time period where he got ripped off and about 20 where he got the benefit of bad calls.
Biggest benefactors of bad calls seem to be Harden and KAT; as a ratio between the two, Horford did pretty well.

At this point they're just trying to extend his career artificially. He'll be unofficial assistant coach for Miami in perpetuity and they'll let him come in and start a fight once a season.
Chris Webber out at TNT. Never did like him. Reggie Miller is worse, though.
If Clippers lose then Denver move to the 3rd spot. If that happens, Denver need to win their game against us to keep the 3rd spot
Yeah, if the Lakers win tomorrow, Sunday is going to be really interesting... especially if the Rockets hold onto this quickly depleting lead.Thing is, it looks like LAC wants the 4-seed - and there's nothing Denver can do to keep them from doing it. This could work out how we wanted after all!
Man this is wild lolYeah, if the Lakers win tomorrow, Sunday is going to be really interesting... especially if the Rockets hold onto this quickly depleting lead.
