KD playing the victim card:

"I mean, it's just pure hate for me, obviously." — KD on why he'll never get a DPOY award

"I understand what we have here in this building that scares everybody".

Hey dipshit, Draymond just won DPOY in 2017, and he's an even bigger asshole than you are. You were his teammate. How can you not know he won DPOY. If they'll give it to that asshole, they'll give it to you IF YOU DESERVE IT. You don't.

The guy sets a career high in blocked shots and he suddenly thinks he's Anthony Davis or Rudy Gobert. He didn't finish in the top 20 in any of the advanced defensive metrics (DRtg, DBPM, DWS, etc.). Dude, come on, you weren't even the best defender on your team let alone the entire league. NOT EVEN CLOSE.

It seems like all he does is whine about how little respect he gets. Gee, I wonder why...

Not a Fentress fan, but he nailed it here.

Stupid, Funny, short reference to the Blazers in the popular culture... from "The Good Place" TV show (just watch the first 10 seconds, the rest is a character review from the show)

I'm very much looking forward to the Melbourne @ Philly game. There are so many connections between the two teams it's ridiculous.

The Sixers may have more connections with Melbourne United, who they'll play in their first preseason game Friday night, than any other basketball team in the world.

It's not just head coach Brett Brown's years as a coach in Australia, which he calls "a second home," or Ben Simmons being born in Melbourne, or one of Brown's players from his first year as coach of the Sixers, Casper Ware, now being Melbourne United's star point guard (see story). The number of links between the teams defies coincidence.

Australian Jonah Bolden has now joined Ben Simmons in Philly. Like Simmons, Bolden's father also played in the Australian NBL in the 90's. Dave Simmons, and Bruce Bolden played the same position F/C for rival teams in the same city.

I'm sure that after the game the Aussies on both teams will be getting together to watch the Australian Football League Grand Final (Superbowl). Starts 9:30PM PDT on Fox Soccer Plus. Maybe some of the Americans will even watch, given that Texan born and bred Mason Cox will be playing.

AMAZING!!!

FUCKING AMAZING!!!
Makes for a sweet highlight, but man, it's not that tough of play and I know you know that. Hell, when I played city ball at Milwaukie Elks for number of years that was done periodically.
For pro's its not, if the opportunity is there.

C'mon man... You've never seen that play before in an NBA game. Just give credit where it's due...

It aint tough, didn't I do something like that in Rip City 3-on-3 this year?

I think the fact that he had the presence of mind to pass it when the lane got cut off is what made it impressive. Had no one been there and he just dunked it, its still impressive but I could see the arguement of, he’s like 6’8 bouncing it off the backboard and dunking isnt seen often but its been done. I dont know Ive ever seen someone do that where they tip passed it to cutter.
I mean you could definitely question what the defense was trying to accomplish but thats still a really good play in my opinion.

Right. He has 2-on-2, then 3-on-2 advantage. There's no display of quickness, dribbling, or shooting. It's like All-Star game situations with no defense. Such show-off moves are harder than necessary, and too inefficient to do in real games.

God it’s great to see basketball again. Watching this Cs/hornets game. Weird to see Tony Parker in the teal uni.

Willie Mays says, "hey":

Suck it toothless ferals!

Oddly enough I hated Durants decision, but in boogies case.... If no ones offering you than ok. Like what was he supposed to do sit out all year and not get paid?
Call up Sacremento?
Id rather he fired his agent and came here but whatever... I blame all the other gm’s for not asking if he’d come over on a short deal and play for them. All the stories Ive read basically said NO ONE even called...

Absolutely, but OTOH, the fact that an NBA ballhandler didn't even consider shooting the ball when unguarded at the top of the key is definitely a big strike against him.
