Wow!
Can't wait for Reese fans losing their minds when Clark wins ROY.She wasn't good enough for the Olympics though.

I want to go on record now that it will be co ROY with Clark and Reese. There will be too much backlash from a certain part of the fan base if Reese isn’t recognized. Clark absolutely deserves it thoughCan't wait for Reese fans losing their minds when Clark wins ROY.
And CC will be fine with that.I want to go on record now that it will be co ROY with Clark and Reese. There will be too much backlash from a certain part of the fan base if Reese isn’t recognized. Clark absolutely deserves it though
Well she didn't get to try out (in fact, never even worked out for them) because she was playing in the NCAA tournament... Nobody said she wasn't good enough. She wasn't good enough for the Olympics though.

I don't follow WNBA. I won't know anyway. I only post this stuff because Tweeter puts it out there. Seriously she could walk past me and i would not know who she was. The only reason I even know the name of the reese chick is because it comes up on the thousands of tweeter tweets. I absolutely could not pick her out in a game if I tried. Very little interest in watching a professional game that isn't even as dynamic as a Varsity High School team.Well she didn't get to try out (in fact, never even worked out for them) because she was playing in the NCAA tournament... They won gold without her. She'll get her chance.
Wow. Just wow. You admitted your ignorance by admitting you don't follow the WNBA. Then you double down on your ignorance by insulting it as being "less than" a varsity high school team. You really DON'T watch the women's game. Personally, for years I have enjoyed watching the women's game far more than I have enjoyed watching the men's game. The ladies actually play like my generation was taught to play; heavy on the fundamentals with strong emphasis on team work. Maybe they can't dunk (or at least as much) but that's a good thing. When they actually do it, it is much more exciting. The men's game has become so much iso, hero ball, one on one and hotdogging. They got arrogant and it shows. The actual game has become secondary. Most men's NBA games are yawners. The downside of the women's game is that the women are picking up all the men's bad habits and attitudes and their game is starting to degrade into the current slop that is men's basketball. Until it inevitably gets there, I'm just gonna try and continue to enjoy it while I can......I don't follow WNBA. I won't know anyway. I only post this stuff because Tweeter puts it out there. Okay. Your opinion is valid I guess. No I don't follow it. Could not tell you what team is good or bad? Cannot even tell you the names of the teams connected to what city they are in other than the Indiana team is the team Clark plays for. Do not know any of the players other than the ones being force fed to us and the one that was jailed in Russia. Griner please don't spell check that? I do not know which team the reese lady plays for. Maybe you can enlighten me? Every game I have tried to watch is indeed less dynamic than a high school game and yes I agree they are doing many of the same things the NBA could do without.Wow. Just wow. ...said no critic of the WNBA, ever. How dare women not ask permission from men?
Then why post in the WNBA thread? It's like how HCP always posts ion any MLB thread just to shit on baseball. If you don't like, not interested, and don't follow, why bother?Okay. Again the only reason I know anything is because ESPN and the NBA are forcing it on the media level. Go ahead and ask around I assure you I am not alone on this.

Speaking of shitting on...
Agreed.I still say Cheryl Miller was GOAT but played at a time when women got no publicity and made no money.

Her TS% is .578, which is well above league average (.536), so it seems inaccurate to call her "not very efficient". And she's only 16th in the league in FGA, 2nd on her own team, so I'm not exactly sure why you would say she "doesn't play team ball". There are several other players who "dominate the ball and play with two other all-stars", but she's the only one leading the league in assists--as a rookie, no less. Now that she's acclimated to the league, she certainly seems to have elevated her team--they're 10-5 since June 13.So what we're basically saying is CC dominates the ball so gets a ton of opportunities (scoring) and plays with two other All Stars (assists).
She is incredibly talented and plays hard. And she is obviously a star.
But not very efficient and doesn't play team ball.
Good points. She very well could be the future GOAT.Her TS% is .578, which is well above league average (.536), so it seems inaccurate to call her "not very efficient". It's obviously over the top for the other dude to already be anointing her the future GOAT, but I feel like the critiques you're lobbing are a bit exaggerated as well.
I’m not trying to “shit on baseball” FAMS! I’m trying to just educate you about how STUPID baseball is and if you can fall asleep for 3 hours and not miss any action, is it really a sport? Then why post in the WNBA thread? It's like how HCP always posts ion any MLB thread just to shit on baseball. If you don't like, not interested, and don't follow, why bother?

Well I was there the day he took off the road kill he used to wear on his head, and threw that.Leave it to Dwight Jaynes to throw his hat into the ring on this one.

The second best basketball player in the family.Agreed.
I always refer to Reggie as Cheryl Miller's little brother.
I didn't shit on the WNBA. I don't watch it but I won't disparage it at all. Actually hoping it survives and becomes more successful. Then why post in the WNBA thread? I think you're going to be in the minority if you believe that calling the WNBA "less dynamic than a high school game" isn't disparaging.I didn't shit on the WNBA. I don't watch it but I won't disparage it at all. Actually hoping it survives and becomes more successful.
That and saying the media is forcing it upon us, versus the media is covering something that is gaining in popularity.I think you're going to be in the minority if you believe that calling the WNBA "less dynamic than a high school game" isn't disparaging.
