Is this true? I've never heard it before. Cripes. Oden is so injury prone he even gets injured in the off-season. Unbelievable.

Blazers should just let Rudy go home. Don't release him from his contract (where he might back door the Blazers and sign with another team). Pay him his piddly contract and let him be with his family . . . i think it hurts team chemistry to keep him around.

I'm almost ready to give up on Oden. Really how long can he stay healthy (if he ever gets healthy) playing basketball at an NBA level. Sucks because I committed to half season tickets because of Oden . . . really wanted to see a dominant big man in a Blazer uni.

From the little I read, the Blazers have taken on a bit of a tough edge to them (another reason to let Rudy go home). I just hope Daunte, Bayless, and Mathews don't beat each other up during training camp fighting for minutes.

Are the Blazers really going into the regular season with Camby and Pendy as the only centers . . . that is "big" time problems.

Did you hear Roy's response about Rudy. Roy feels like it is on the team to make Rudy feel more comfortable here. In fact Roy was all over the map when it came to responding about Rudy . . . if nothing else, the media will be asking Blazers about the Rudy situation which is a distraction.

This team isn't exactly the most mature and strong willed team. They are young and impressionable and don't need someone inmp who is basically begging to go home, IMO.

Quite frankly, they tried to hang with him, but he insists on kissing them on the cheek and with his questionable shaving technique - the other players complain that he is scratchy!

I am sorry for Rudy, but let's face it - he was the one that signed the contract, he is the one that needs to accept it and make the best of it. Whining and pouting never works. If you do not have a positive look on life and embrace the challenges - you are going to be fucked sooner or later.
