CNN has called MI, WI & MN for Obama and has him at 174, McCain 49

MSNBC reporting...

Arizona - TOO CLOSE TO CALL (close, not early!)
Texas - TOO EARLY TO CALL
Colorado - TOO EARLY TO CALL (Obama leading)
Louisiana - TOO EARLY TO CALL
New Mexico - TOO EARLY TO CALL
Nebraska - TOO EARLY TO CALL
South Dakota - TOO EARLY TO CALL

also...

Florida - still TOO CLOSE TO CALL
North Carolina - still TOO CLOSE TO CALL
Virginia - still TOO CLOSE TO CALL
Missouri - still TOO CLOSE TO CALL
Indiana - still TOO CLOSE TO CALL
Ohio - still TOO EARLY TO CALL

I could have voted in the last election but was living in Seattle and didn't think it would matter cause it was going to be called for however the democratic candidate was on the ticket. Today I voted cause AZ actually might go either way.

Exit Polls:

New York - Obama 67 McCain 32
Rhode Island - Obama 65 McCain 32
Michigan - Obama 57 McCain 40
Wisconsin - Obama 58 McCain 42
Minnesota - Obama 58 McCain 39
Louisiana - Obama 45 McCain 51
Texas - Obama 48 McCain 50
Kansas - Obama 43 McCain 56
Nebraska - Obama 45 McCain 53
South Dakota - Obama 50 McCain 47
North Dakota - Obama 43 McCain 55
Wyoming - Obama 39 McCain 60
Colorado - Obama 53 McCain 45
New Mexico - Obama 56 McCain 43
Arizona - Obama 48 McCain 50

The very democratic southeastern counties in Florida (Miami, bitches :) ) have not been counted yet. I think Obama is taking the state.

Why does Fox News seem so depressed? Wouldn't a fair and balanced station have neutral reaction to such a news break?

MSNBC just projected Ohio for Obama as well.

If I add OH to my projection map that puts Obama at 280 assuming CA, OR & WA.

He has strong exit polls on CO & NM and other states too. Looks like a blowout.

Congratulations, President Elect Obama.

It's amazing that our first black president waltzed to victory pretty easily. I think the Hispanics breaking so hard for Obama has a large part in this.

Too bad Jay Nixon beat Kenny Hulshof for governor.

George W. McCain never had a shot.

This has turned out to be an AWESOME day :ghoti:

The only suspense in this election is how many senate and house seats the republicans gain or lose.

Out of curiosity, how many posters voted yes on measure 61: mandatory prison sentences?

I vote no on all mandatory prison sentences. What's the point of having highly skilled judges if you don't give them the latitude to do their job?

Talkhard must be drowning himself in Mad Dog 20-20 about now.

McCain holds on to TX. Closer than it was supposed to be though.

Holy crap! Did you just see that Jessica chick in Holograph form on CNN? How'd they do that?

Eric, you're the guy in show business. I figured you would know better than any of us.:ghoti:
