I gotta feeling his playing game 2. If i know stotts like i think i do, he was ok to play the first game but he preferer to sit him out, to see how the warriors playing and how can we use nurkic to our favor. In tha game vs minny (that one we win in our home) Nurkic pregame warmup was good. If he can training i think he can play...

If we wanna anything in this series, he gotta playing this game 2. If he comes from the bench im ok with that but he gotta play

I don't think there is any way he plays in game 2. Even game 3 is a stretch. That type of injury requires 4 to 6 weeks of recuperation time.

Capela was expected to miss 6 weeks, he come back in 4. He injury was more tough than nurkic was. Nurkic training with the team, and look that picture: You think a injury player can take all this? And training? I dont think so. He injured himself at the nuggets game. 3 weeks without him.

Just my opinion: He's feeling good but he need more time, and thats perfect. My guess is game 2 or at least game 3. But i gotta feeling his playing game 2, just saying.

Game three in Portland will mark the triumphant return of our lord and savior, Jusuf Nurkic.

BNM,
You obviously need a special forum section for watered down versions of your posts for the TV babies, or reading challenged.
Or, issue some brief summaries daily, maybe call them "Boob's Notes", so people wouldn't fail the tests.

Psst... it's called twitter.

Who is making the call here? Terry? Med staff? Nurk? Olshey??

I assume Stotts and Olshey and the front office in general are working together, with the information the medical staff gives them, to make the determination. I assume Olshey has final say.

Team doc has to clear him before anything else, then after that its probably a combination of Nurk/Terry with Terry making the ulitmate decision.

I suspect if this was a series against Memphis or LAC, he would be playing. Since we're playing the Warriors, I can't imagine there's a huge incentive to rush him back.

I don't believe he has been training with the team. He has only been doing shooting drills from what I gather.

The front office has zero say in this.

Off topic, but your English has gotten more fluent in the time you've been posting here!

Honestly I think a game three entrance is the best scenario for many reasons. Gives Nurk more time to recover. Also, gives him the best location to come back. If he comes back strong and the Blazers win two home games then all the sudden the series is tied and Blazers have the momentum going back to GS.
