Marchand is tiny. So was Fleury. If you have the attitude to get into the fight every night, you can have a guy like that on your team.
 
He's sort of a shiftier version of Zuccarello. Sounds like he may be leaning towards Philly to play with Michkov but it seems down to 2 teams.
 
I really like that they beefed up their vet scoring at the AHL level. It doesn't get talked about enough but it's very important with the amount of young prospects we have going there. Perreault isn't going to make the team this year. He needs a full AHL season. Rangers don't historically rush these kids. Roobroeck might be there again but I hope he can make the team. Terrance will be there. Laba, Sykora, McC-Barker. I hope not Othmann and Berard but you never know. Chmelar. They need vet help to adjust.

Kaprizov told Minnesota to piss off. Islanders fans are already worried he’s coming to the Rangers lol.
 
Starting to see Drury’s plan here. Got teams to take Trouba’s and Kreider’s entire salary. Next year Panarin comes off the books. Didn’t pay K’Andre shithead. Acquired some movable pieces like Soucy and Borgen. McDavid and Kaprizov loom. Needs to find a way to dump Zibanedouche.
 
Laba turning heads in rookie camp. Only 11 professional games and he's looking like Hartford's #1C. Drury has to keep drafting guys with size, smaller, faster players are at such a disadvantage
 
He started doing that 3 years ago and the rest of the league tried to copy cat it in this years draft. Mostly due to Florida. I've been touting Laba for years. However, guy has missed a lot of games in college. That doesn't bode well if he can't get his body to be more durable.

From what I’ve seen so far in the preseason I would like the lines to be as follows.

Cuylle-Miller-Zibanejad
Panarin -Trochek-Lafreniere
Othmann-Laba-Parrsinen
Rempe-Carrick-Edstrom



Gavrikov-Fox
Schneider-Borgen
Robertson/Vaakanainen-Morrow

Perreault needs AHL time. Let’s not forget how brutally physical Florida is. This team needs to develop Othmann at all cost. I’m sure not sold on Morrow yet but now we’re short of right handed defenseman if we move Schneider to his offside.
 
Sullivan’s niece is married to Sheary? How the fuck did Drury let that shit happen.
 
Looks like Stepan might be right. Looks like we have another dumb fuck coach going with all washed up, 3rd and 4th line retard forwards thus fucking over our kids for another season.
 
I give it about two more weeks before Berard's and Othmann's agents ask for a trade. Neither has anything left to learn at the AHL level.

FFS. But ok, let's see how things play out here. I will say though, the preseason has shown you absolutely cannot have these young guys on the ice at the end of tight games....or Fox. He couldn't move a traffic cone from out in front of the crease.
 
Young players have to learn to close out games just like producing in games at every level. You have to give them a chance and let them play.
 
17 million. Absolutely not. I don't care what the cap is going up to. That's fn ridiculous for a great regular season player but hit and miss in the playoffs. Seems to be every other year he has a big playoffs. He's also 28. I'm not sure he makes his teammates better as a McDavid would. I thought maybe 14 million for 6 years to a strong team. Buium will be a offensive force from the blue line. Wallstedt is a schmuck in goal. Complete bust. Gustavsson is hit or miss. They don't have the goalie to go anywhere in the West. Basically, Kaprizov will piss away his career there and probably will demand a trade to NY at 31 where we should pass.
