It's like the twilight zone...lol...he just wants to be rude and curse at people rather than reading and understanding what they are saying.

I think EVERYONE knows Igor's value is extremely high, that's not the debate here, he's great and his value to the Rangers is sky high (we saw that even more clearly when he was out injured and the Rangers completely fell apart). What is being debated is no matter how great/elite your goalie is, is it smart to pay a goalie huge money/a huge cap hit, is that the best way to manage your cap and build a well-rounded balanced team. THAT'S the debate, and I would argue history tells you it is not the best cap management winning strategy to pay a goalie a huge salary/cap hit no matter how great/elite they are.

As for you Panzer, respectfully I really don't think you are getting it. I 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% agree with you, by Rangers Pres/GM standards Drury is average/run of the mill/whatever (you say above average - I say average for the Rangers - directionally we feel the same way). THAT'S NOT THE BAR HE SHOULD BE JUDGED BY THOUGH. You continue to "grade" Drury on a curve.

Just because the Rangers have a history of terrible leadership, doesn't mean Drury should be judged as okay because he is average amongst a boatload of terrible leaders. We ALL deserve better. How about a good/top Pres/GM who is actually good at his job(s), not average when compared to a pile of crappy fired previous "leaders". YOU deserve better as a fan Pazner, and should expect better IMO.

If Drury sucks as his jobS, which in my opinion he does, the Rangers should strive for better, not just say oh he sucks (my opinion), but for Rangers standards he is average/run of the mill/above average. The "by Rangers standards" bar is SO LOW that SHOULD NOT be how Drury, or ANY Rangers Pres/GM is judged. They should be judged on their results and based on that Drury is a train wreck overall the past four seasons, which is 80% of his tenure running the organization.

You continue to want to add qualifiers and rationalizations to spin why you think Drury is doing well and deserves to keep his job. You just added yet another one, now it's by Rangers Pres/GM standards he's done an average or above average job. If all that preceded Drury was CRAP in those roles, who the F cares if he's done average by those extremely terribly low standards. In my opinion, you need to stop rationalizing and qualifying Drury's performance in his roles, and look at where the organization is, they suck and are getting worse and worse. That is the fact which matters, not by the terribly low awful Rangers Pres/GM standards he's average (or in your opinion above average).

The dumb fucks in our fan base don’t realize you build a team around an elite goaltender not get rid of the elite goaltender and then try to build a team. You have to be a fucking moron to wanna do that.

Panarin is a classic example of why you don’t make dumb fuck go for it all now trades like Chuck always wants to do. Give up an excellent prospect in Greentree with an elite shot who has great size and tremendous leadership capabilities to get ass fucked in the first round and swept.

I think we should trade every pick and every kid in the organization!!! No, better yet, we should cling to every single kid and pick, and never actually try to win. We should always talk about prospects, the minors, and "tomorrow", I know that's your preferred approach..."tomorrow" is so bright...I'll start calling you Annie...LOL.

The real way to do it is everything in balance. You make some smart shrewd trades of select kids/picks as needed, and you build the core of your team with the kids/picks you determine are the right ones to keep. That's how good winning organizations do it, and rightfully so. Going to either extreme is a losing proposition.
