Re: SL thread

This not as much

"@Steven_Ohl: @mikerice6 I am more anxious about Meyers and his defensive positioning. See anything regarding that?"this summer will tell

I am probably reading into it, but if he saw that CJ and Barton looked very good at practice, and didn't say the same of Leonard's defense....Makes me think not so much

Re: SL thread

See this is what fucking pisses me off about Leonard! WHy the fuck do we need our center to be hoisting threes?
Yes, especially now that we have some excellent outside shooters on the team. I want Leonard under the basket!

Re: The Official 2013 Las Vegas Summer League Thread........

Portland doesn't play until Saturday, and some teams haven't even announced their rosters yet.

Not to mention, we've got the Orlando Summer League in mid-swing, and Team USA is killing it at the World University Games (tune in tomorrow at 4 pm PST on ESPNU if you want to see them fuck up Sweden btw).

I'm interested to see how the new tournament format in Vegas will workout though. I thought it was pretty stupid at first, but I get it now... it's an opportunity to have these guys play in a truly competitive environment for a change, instead of playing pop-a-shot like they did last year. Hopefully, we'll be able to see how these guys can actually fit into a team concept. At least, that's the plan... we'll see how it plays out in reality.

I've recorded this weeks US team games.....can't wait to watch em!

Re: SL thread

im looking forward to seeing the progress of the youngsters.

Re: SL thread

I am conflicted. Should I post in the "official thread" with little to no information in it or the more informative but less attractively titled option?

Re: SL thread

I am waiting for some analysis on Lynyrd's apparent difficulty in boxing out a SG in Crabbe... :ghoti:

Re: SL thread

Thank god for you. I didn't want to say anything.

It's not rocket science though; He's top heavy, so his center of gravity isn't low enough to properly box out. Need to do more leg work or he'll end up looking alike one of those gym guys with chicken legs and huge pecs.

I'm still giving him a pass since he was a guard up until recently and so doesn't have the basics in his repertoire.

Re: SL thread

not sure if this got posted but here's dame putting in some work, wet jumper as per usual.

Re: SL thread

Any idea who are the four coaches working with Dame?

Re: SL thread

I am very excited to see how we do this summer.

Don't expect too much from Robinson though. SL is historically a guards league. Hopefully CJ will try to get Leonard and Robinson involved.

He averaged a double double last SL and the Kings were trying to play him as a point forward....dumbasses.

Re: SL thread

Seriously? Why in gods name would they do that?

There's some serious mis-management of talent in Sacto... this isn't the first time we've recovered a previously abandoned project from them.

Watching CJ McCollum, he's gonna be VERY dynamic for the Blazers! More of a compliment to Lillad, games are very different. I can't wait!

Love it!

I just hope his lack of size doesn't become an issue.
