I just had a thought...I remember back in the 80's and 90's, when summer leagues were only talked about on Court side Monday night (or Monday Night Court side, depending on which mandella effect you apply to).

There was no social media, no video clips, no highlights, no podcasts...just Steve Jones, Pat Lafferty, Mike Rice or Scott Lynne talking about stuff vaguely.

I *hated* the dog days of the off season. Now I just dislike it strongly.

Oh they did. I used to check them every night after the game. I'd look to see how ZBO did. He was tearing up the league with 30 point, 20 rebound games.

Dude...I said 80's and 90's.
 
My only “complaint” thus far with TGWH is that I’d like to see two hands on dunks inside so he has a better chance of finishing and drawing fouls.

Surprised so many upset that Scoot isn’t playing summer league. If anything I think it’s a good sign that the franchise is confident what they have and aren’t risking their future superstar in a summer league games that will absolutely do nothing to make him better. They are literally 5 games playing against 80-90% of players who will never see NBA regular season minutes. Absolutely selfishly I would love to watch him play, but I’d be even more pissed if he got hurt playing against some guy trying to make a name for himself.

I'm probably most upset that I won't be able to watch Scoot these next few weeks, itching for some Blazers basketball since our season was effectively over with Gleaguers starting back in February. Not interested in watching Rupert/Murray hardly at all. I guess I'll see on Clingan but don't expect too much excitement with him.

I don't think he thinks the game at a super high level and I'm pretty confident his defense is going to be a negative. Not active or instinctive, doesn't navigate screens well...movement wise he's just not very good laterally or changing direction. He's strong and has decent length but there's not much to bank on on that end.

I don't know, his offense May be good enough to keep him in NBA rotations for a while, but his pathway to success is very narrow imo

That's a bit silly. First, Morrison never had to toil in the boonies like Knecht. But second, Morrison never had half Knecht's athleticism. Morrison had all-world offensive talent in the body of an average joe (albeit a tall one).

Great, now I'll be imaging "season ending" update coming for him at any time.

Should we just cancel all the Ant trade ideas? These guys played a grand total of 0 healthy games together last season.
 
They’re holding out Scoot so that he won’t get hurt and they can trade him!!! :NOTMARIS:
 
He was in the locker room getting his gear on while welcoming Deni today. Think he's fine.

the Simons/Scoot backcourt had several games together. The roster having 0 chemistry is up for debate. Any concern with the Simons/Scoot ~.150 win percentage, can easily be nullified with conversations about next summer's super rookie.
