Ryan Anderson is being shopped around according to reports. Would you guys trade Meyers and a filler for him? Anderson is one of only 13 players averaging over 18 and 7 rebounds..
Hell. No.

Doesnt accomplish anything...

Trade Hendo and Kaman for something, combine that something with Vonleh, Meyers, Crabbe and a future 1st and go get Clarkson. Take on Nick Youngs contract (3/15) to sweeten the pot (buy him out, allocate all the money left in his contract to this years cap space).

Its going to be a quiet trade deadline for us I just dont see NO moving anyone he's shown himself to be a pretty shrewd business man I just dont see any move worth making

NO is the master at doing things no one else thinks about. lol.

Why not? Ryan Anderson is everything people want Meyers to be. Plus 18ppg and over 7rbs a game from Anderson? Meyers will never do that
Andersons always hurt, a worse defender than Meyers, he's getting old, he's more expensive...

Meyers Leonard may never be better than Ryan Anderson. However, with where the current state of the Blazers are, I'll roll the dice that Meyers can become a better player regardless of what the odds are of that coming to fruition.

Embiid is intriguing - even with his foot issues.

It looks chronic but it may not be. His bones were in flux as he had a notable growth spurt - a full 7'2" in sandles apparently. That means the guy is pushing 7'3" in shoes. Ballooning to 310 lbs. was the culprit in his setback IMO.

I would take a flyer on him.

I mean if Philly's asking price is incredibly low, then yeah I'd take a chance on him. Otherwise, he unfortunately looks like another Greg Oden.

Olynyk is starting to get consistent minutes and he's likely playing himself out of attainability.

He was their best player tonight - 28 pts | 6 rebs | 3 ast

Olynyk is one of most skilled big men in the league and no one gives him credit for it.

We want

Exactly - we want picks and/or possibly the rights to drafts-and-stashes. The only players that MIGHT excite teams a little (excluding Lillard, of course) are CJ and Leonard. But Henderson might be of interest to a contender, especially one that's just had an injury to a wing player. If we can do a trade like the one Denver did with us with Afflalo (but in reverse) that's the best we can hope for.

No to Olynyk. He's an interesting offensive player who will destroy your team defense. Y'know, like most of the players we already have.

Said like someone who's never watched Boston play.

I take it back...

There is no way Leonard would start over Olynyk.

No, I wouldn't. I would trade Harkless and Vonleh and draft picks

With D'Antoni hired as associate head coach I really think they'll be very active and look for pieces that fit his style.

I think they'll ask Portland about CJ.

Just a hunch.

CJ, Crabbe and filler for Embiid and a right for us to swap 1sts this year

Itd help us tank harder, and it would be ironic, us trading for an injured, high drafted big, and would be some sort of vindication if we turned him into a beast. Plus, the basketball gods owe us one.
