Who the hell is incarceratedbob and why do ppl listen to him

He's a sad loser who just wants attention and has been proven to be a fraud multiple times. IGNORE with everything you've got...

@JeffZillgitt: Thunder restricted free agent C Enes Kanter will meet with OKC first as reported, but Blazers are monitoring, may want to talk w/Kanter.

Stealing Durant and Bustbrook's buddy would do my heart good.

Isn't Clay Bennett a cheapskate too? I could see us stealing him away.

Another young guy who hasn't hit his ceiling yet. Played well for okc.

Kanter is B A D on defense. Utah got way better defensively when he left..most of that is Gobert, but Kanter is straight garbage on D.

Kanter averaged 19/11 and shot 57% from the field after he was traded to OKC. He flat out killed the Blazers when he played us.

For the right price, I'd love to get Kanter. Unfortunately Kanter is a restricted FA. OKC could match any offer we make. Would you rather have Kanter for around $12M per year, or go after a "max" FA like Monroe for around $16M per year?

Kanter fucking sucks. Dude's an asshole, his team in Utah hated him.

Maybe Olshey feels Monroe will sign elsewhere, so kanter is plan B

Actually, the guy who killed us was McGary. Can we get him?

I agree with you about the right price. What Kanter does have going over Monroe is he's 2 years younger. IIRC, Kanter has a pretty good low post game and is a bull on the offensive glass. Monroe's offensive game isn't as developed if my memory stands. What I can't speak to are the intangibles (i.e. If they're a good locker room guy, good head on their shoulders, etc)

If it came down to straight money, I'd probably lean towards Kanter and use that extra $$ on another FA.

If Wes is already getting offers starting at $12 million per year he's gone. With all the injuries Paul Allen has paid for I don't see him investing that much in a player who'll be entering his 30's and one of the worst injuries a basketball player can have. Up until yesterday he was still paying Brandon Roy's $80 million contract.

Yeah I could see that. Gosh I am really not a Kanter far but if we lose out on Monroe and Aldridge would it be better than rolling with a pair of MLE type of guys or Kanter. I guess I'll trust Neil.

OKC traded away Harden to avoid the luxury tax so I doubt they pay it this season for a backup big man. And if they do get desperate to pay it trying to impress Durant at least it will prevent them from adding other pieces next summer.

If aldridge goes love becomes my main target. Monroe is a C so he's a separate deal.

That'd be a killer offensive lineup and it'd be a killer rebounding squad (Aminu/Love/Monroe) but devensively, we'd be awful with those two bigs playing together.

Aminu set the bar and the guy I targeted for Wesley's replacement, Jae Crowder, will ask for a similar deal.
