Until the NFL and NCAA create a Unity pact together, and come to terms with Coaches, who have wrecked havoc and 5 years worth of Sanctions against NCAA FB Teams. Then the NFL will continue to be enablers of fools and cheats, while the NCAA will pay the price for these fleeing coaches bullshit/crimes.
Take Pete Carroll, he decimated USC FB. No scholarships, no bowl games, no TV or TV revenues, and a ton of other shit, hung on the heads of the USC Team like a weight, while trying to tread water in the Ocean.
Carroll destroyed USC, and if he returned to So. Cal, it would not be a pretty reception. The man deserves a bullet b/t the eyes, IMO, or at least in the ass...!
NTM-the night prior to the NCAA levying Sanctions to the Public, Petey, bought a one way ticket out of LAX to Seattle, and the rest is History. Pete signed his Seattle Contract, just hours prior to the NCAA going Public.
IMHO, I believe a College Coach who breaks all the rules, should not be privy to being a NFL Coach at least not until the Sanctions against his college team, have run their course. In other words, I'd love to see the NFL/NCAA double up on ensuring cheating Coaches, cannot run across the border to flee sanctions, of which they were aware of or a part of. Onec those Sanctions are completed, then let the dumbasses apply for a NFL job.
IMO this is only fair, if a Coach creates or allows an environment to cheat, then he should also be held accountable, not able to flee the scenes, without some kind of NFL lockout for said offender....! just my 2 cents...!
