God Vegas makes me sick to my stomach. Just reading this thread I feel like I need to shower. Just have never understood the draw. I mean I guess if you like being surrounded by drunk obnoxious frat boys smoking cigarettes....or stuck in the middle of a Jersey Shore reject convention. Yuck.

fully agree, vegas is definitely not my jam. the real Jersey Shore is a lot more fun.

Can't do that either bro. Just a not as flashy version of Vegas. To be fair I've only been to Atlantic City.

If you are a people watcher then vegas downtown(not the strip) is perfect. You will see everything.
however to solidify your point, there was a weightlifting championship convention at the golden nugget. So even downtown had a high percentage of jersey shore “see my muscles?” Vibe.
And I've never seen so many women that scared me. Meaning they could take me out, and I am a pretty big guy!
I do agree though, I will be showering twice once I get home!

Also, the thought of hitting a jackpot is attractive to those of us who don't make a ransoms paycheck! :)

The only thing I like about Vegas is laying by the pool drinking good drinks and taking in the scenery. The casinos are grimey and full of degenerates who struggle to pay rent cause they spend it all on the hope to hit it big

Which is why I don't spend any time in the casinos. It's shows, games, pools, golf, and occasional sports book for me.

The draw right now is the opportunity to meet pretty much everyone involved with the NBA and see the young players for cheap. That’s the draw. Summer League is awesome. It’s basically All Star weekend but way cheaper and more laidback.

I'm definitely going to try and make it again next year but the schedule has to be kind.
