Hmmm....this is a REALLY tough choice, because there were a lot of great songs released in 2008. I think I would have to go with Shogun by Trivium. Absolutely epic metal song.

Believe me it is tough. But it has gotten rave reviews and combines so many different elements.

I think it was a good choice. The only real good songs from that album are TCP, Mirror's Truth, and Disconnected.

I can't argue with that, also can't argue with you saying there are better songs then the Chosen Pessimist. Solid album.
