I hope they find this bastard ASAP and he has a miserable life in prison.

Actually, in this case, I hope they find him.... make him watch them tear his beloved BMW apart and then make him live in a cell built from the pieces of his BMW for the rest of his life.

That is sick. But I’ll take a new one too. I’ve had four BMWs. From a 1972 2002, to a 535 more recently. Love them.
Man, I had 2 friends back in the day that completely hooked up their 2002s, like car show ready. And 5 series are my favorites. But as an Audi owner.....I always have to stick it to the BMW dorks.

I'll never understand the appeal of BMW and Mercedes.

If you go to Germany, they have Mercedes taxis. They don't understand how either of those companies are considered high end. They're just cars.

If I'm spending some serious money on a car, I'm going to go get a classic car that will gain value. Rather drive my boring Camry and have a classic car in the garage, rather than spend all that money on a beamer or benz.

Dude, a Camry is the least fun car. It is reliable. It is affordable. It is super boring.

I'm a Subaru fan. I understand people that love their cars and take pride and whatever. But, I agree with you in that I'd rather get a Subaru Legacy and get the upgrades like leather seats etc. If I wanted to try to be somewhat fancy.

I've had friends that get BMW's though. And the ladies like them. They aren't gonna get excited about a Camry or Subaru. But, I don't care because i'm married.

So two funny thoughts about that...

I knew a kid who was still living at home and decided to spend all his money on an older BMW. He walked around with the fob and everything. It's kinda hard to maximize the potential of a BMW when you have to bring the ladies back to mom and dad's house. It also didn't help him that he wasn't a particularly good looking guy.

I on the other hand opted to buy a Wrangler when I was 18 because I knew chicks loved Jeeps..... which is true. Chicks do love Jeeps. I ended up giving my sister's friends many rides to school in that thing, but I was too damn shy to take advantage of it. Years later I had more than one of those girls admit they had a crush on me. Many regrets and missed opportunities.

That 2002 I had is probably now worth about 40k. It was mint. Back then it was just an old BMW. God I wish I had that. Friend here in town bought a cheap one that needed work, spent about 15000 on it and it is unreal now. If I knew shit about how to work on cars that’s what I would do.

You need to invent a machine that travels thru time...and call it...a time machine!

A time machine wouldn't do me much good.... I'd have to convince 18 year old me that he's not shy and awkward with the ladies. It would be like Marty trying to teach his dad how to not be a dork in Back to the Future.

What we need is for someone to invent a machine where we can enter a dream state and relive situations of our past so we can change them. It wouldn't be real, but it could be fun to completely change something that happened to you.

Been watching the newest season of Stranger Things and every episode I think, "damn, I wish I had Steve's beamer". A 733i isn't ideal, but it's still a pretty sweet ride.

Try getting high school girls when you drive an extremely battered version of one of these........

Think of the positive changes Biff made tho...

Me too. Used to LOVE them. My 1999 3 series convertible, and my 2008 5 series were the best. But the last two I owned, a 2012 and a 2016, were not the same. At least imo. I'm kind of turned off to them now.

I think I just lost any respect I might have had for you............at least mine was all I could afford with the $135 I had back then.....

I have done NOTHING to earn your respect. It is ill founded! :)
Mine was gifted to me for my 16th bday but had to put all my summer lawn mowing money into it to get it running.

You paid for yours? Sucker! Lol.

The BMW 2 and 4 series convertibles might be worth a test drive...
