I totally forgot. It feels like it has been 10 years since the start of the season. But didn’t they say it could be years before they play us again?

the two schools scheduled the home & home when the bruises of departure were still fresh. I think Oregon was operating on some sympathy as well as some guilt at OSU's predicament

but I've been told that if the agreement for the home & home hadn't been in place prior to that emergency session in front of the legislature, the Ducks would have never agreed to the two games. The behavior of the OSU president and AD in that session royally pissed off Oregon and Phil Knight

apparently, Tez announced on Instagram that he's 'back!' That would be great news for the Ducks

the On3 moderator said he believes that Jordan Burch, Ja'maree Caldwell, and Marcus Harper will all be 'good to go' against the Huskies. And that Jordan James is alright but can really use the 2 week break

I'm pretty sure they're not in a position to turn down the payday.
Oh, shit. In the 70s, the Beavers always had some of the toughest schedules in the country. They'd go anywhere for a big payday. They needed the money. They were fodder for other teams to pad their records. As a result, they lost. A lot. Which meant they couldn't recruit. Which meant they lost. A lot. It was miserable. The Ducks were also terrible. Which for me just doubled the pain.

Just like that game at Arizona State! I can't remember the details. Joey Harrington was QB?

The student section was chanting Over-rated! Over-rated!

Then this happened. LOL.

(Cued up to 0:59) Oregon won the game in double OT, 56-55. October 28, 2000.

Is this old news? The Ducks are in the B1g championship game.

The top-ranked Oregon Ducks have clinched a spot in the Big Ten championship game.

The Big Ten announced Tuesday that after extensive evaluation, there were “no conditions whereby the Ducks do not finish No. 1 or No. 2” in the conference. The league championship is set for Dec. 7 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Big Ten's tiebreakers are so crazy it only just realized Oregon clinched title game bid

Saturday, December 7th.

The city of Indianapolis and Lucas Oil Stadium will play host to the 15th annual Big Ten Football Championship Game on December 7, 2024.

The champion of the East Division will be the designated home team for this year's contest and will face the champion of the West Division.

Kickoff for the game is set at 8 PM ET. The winner will earn the Amos Alonzo Stagg Championship Trophy and a chance to play in one of the six bowls that comprise the College Football Playoff, including the Rose Bowl Game.

Oh man.... Keith Jackson yelling "fumble" is so awesome.

Also, it's so weird seeing the massive shoulder pads again.

Wonder how the coaching staff feels about the UW game. If they're in the B1G title game regardless, are they going to go all-out to remain undefeated? Obviously the fan base cares much more about the rivalry than the coaching staff does. But if resting players vs UW improves our chances at a playoff bye and a title run, is it worth it?

If we lose to UW for the 4th straight time under Lanning, even winning the national championship won't feel as prestigious.

Considering Dan has lost three times to them..... I think he wants to win this one lol

I don't know how accurate this is, I got it from here, https://fbschedules.com/2025-oregon-football-schedule/ but it appears to match up with a Ducks site https://autzenzoo.com/posts/oregon-...le-known-and-confirmed-opponents-01hq4nh4qb7d.

Ending the season with 3 straight road games is ridiculous, especially with 2 of them on the east coast.

Also our biggest home game is Indiana. Not bad considering their season but Penn St or Michigan would have been better.

Wow they play no one at all lol

I would hope that he wants that...but is it really the same, beating a 6-5 team led by a completely different coaching staff?

And if we lose in the big cg we could get knocked out or way down as a two loss team.

it's Washington and every Duck player not a true freshman remembers the two 3 point losses to the Huskies last year. And the coaching staff has been in Eugene long enough to know what this game means to the fan base

the Duck won't rest players this game. Going undefeated in the regular season has meaning. Maybe a couple of the guys coming back from injury will have limited minutes (Burch, Harper). The only exception might be Tez Johnson. If he does play, Oregon might limit the type of routes he runs. It's almost certain that the Washington DB's will target his shoulder on tackles so Tez need to think like a QB and slide to avoid contact. And Gabriel needs to NOT throw any hospital balls toward Tez like he threw to Lowe against Wisconsin

If we lose that game with or w/o starters and OSU beats Indiana it could drop us in the seeding for college playoff.
B1G title game is the only thing that really matters for seeding. If they win that--whether 12-1 or 13-0--they get a bye in the first round of the playoff. Do you think that a 12-1 B1G champ will be any lower than a 2 seed?

I guess it's possible that if they lose to UW and in the B1G title game, the committee could drop them to the 9 seed and they wouldn't host their first round game, but it seems highly unlikely to me that the committee would punish them for resting their players for what is essentially a meaningless game.

The Ducks losing 2 games in a row to end the season could drop them to a tough road game in Mid December.

I guess it would depend on other 1 loss teams and how bad the loss is?

Joey Galloway ESPN college playoffs suggested Indiana not play their qb thats coming back from injury against OS. The other commentators thought he was crazy! lol They haven't beaten OSU ever in modern times.

#2 QB recruit decommits from USC and signs with Colorado

Sounds like Sanders might not leave
