#2 QB recruit decommits from USC and signs with Colorado

Sounds like Sanders might not leave

he'll leave as soon as he gets an offer from a better situation than Colorado. If any of the Florida jobs open and he's offered, he'll jump without question

Deion is all about Deion

Cowboys will hire him this year. Sanders is gone.

Cowboys job I think is where he’s going.

It does in the playoffs. You absolutely do not want that loss.
If UO wins the B1G title game, what impact do you think being 12-1 vs 13-0 will have on the playoff?

no one knows what the committee will do since this is the first year. But I would not take the chance of losing both games when you have the SEC already posturing for more of their teams getting in with 2-3 losses.

Big If?
The Ducks are the visiting team in that venue against whoever they play.
What do you think happens if they are 11-2 with a loss in the championship game?
They get a bye week this week with one game before the championship game. Go in undefeated with a huge win vs Washington and let other teams sweat your undefeated record.

This whole #1 ranking is a bit ridiculous at this point. I talk to people here in LA who only casually follow college football and are surprised when I tell them that I don't expect to win it all. Do I think we have a chance? Yes. But I would always take the "field" vs any team this year. This is not the NBA where you get 7 games to win it. There are easily 8 teams as good as Oregon.

Wonder how the coaching staff feels about the UW game. If they're in the B1G title game regardless, are they going to go all-out to remain undefeated? Obviously the fan base cares much more about the rivalry than the coaching staff does. But if resting players vs UW improves our chances at a playoff bye and a title run, is it worth it?
We must break them!

Football is such a war of attrition. To win it all a team has to have luck on it's side as far as injuries which can happen on any play. So far this season, luck has been on Oregon's side. Even the starters they had sidelined are expected to be back for the Fusky game. In the 30+ years I've been a rabid Duck fan, I don't think Oregon has ever had a season where all their dudes were there at the end of the season. *edit- I forgot CB Jalil Florence who has been out all year but there are rumblings he's almost back too. Also OG Mathew Bedford who has also been out all year and as a transfer, never taken a snap as a Duck

8 other teams as good as Oregon? Really? I thought tOSU was the better team entering the big clash with the Ducks, but then they lost two starting OTs and weren't able to run the ball much. Since then they've lost their Center for the season too. Check out their injury list...

Anything can happen which is part of why sports is so great, but unless things start going sideways with player losses I like UO's chances

The Ducks are getting a visit next week from a very intriguing DE prospect. Tobi Haastrup is a recent Texan who was raised primarily in England. His Senior year in HS was the first time he played or even learned the most basic rules of the game, like how the whole downs system works. However, being 6'4 240 and able to run a 10.7 100M is very helpful and eleven D1 offers came in following his very first game which he had 5 sacks in. For a size/speed comparison, Oregon OLB Devon Jackson is said to maybe be the fastest LB in college football. His Senior year of HS he was listed 6'1 200 lbs and ran a 10.54 100M

Part of the draw to Eugene may be that Tobi is also a top track athlete throwing the shot put. His educational goal is to become a MD.

In the highlights below, some of the reactions of the OLineman he destroys are enjoyable

Exciting game last night with the Beaves. Great atmosphere and finish on the road. The Beaves look like they have a lot of decent international talent.
The Ducks are off to their usual slow start, looking like they have never played together. Dana has a lot of new pieces to mold together. I wonder why Evans only got 8 minutes off the bench.

Verbally making a commitment tomorrow is 2026 TE Kendre Harrison. The 6'7 North Carolina 5* has been offered by Oregon in both football and hoops and are thought to be the favorite.

I thought he wasn’t announcing until the 30th. Did he move it up?

I went back and confirmed the rivals source from last Monday saying that he'd be committing "next Saturday" which I took to mean tomorrow. Since every other source seems to be saying Saturday the 3oth, that must have been what was meant... my bad!

So anyhoo to recap... 5* TE Kendre Harrison announces on the 30th, 4* WSDE Tobi Haapstrup on 12/2, & 5* SSDE Jahkeem Stewart on 12/4

They very well could go 3 for 3
