This just reeks of going with the 2nd and 3rd stringers instead of keeping the starters in for a blowout.

It reeks of voters not paying attention to that fact. This just reeks of going with the 2nd and 3rd stringers instead of keeping the starters in for a blowout.
Most of these teams have a win against a decent team.
my concern meter over the AP ratings is resting at zero mostly because they are irrelevant. Compared to the earlier games, the Ducks did seem a bit flat but whatever. The most important things are that they won (handily), got a lot of young guys game experience, and at least from what we know, no one was seriously hurt. Dan stated this was a business trip & they took care of business despite all the reasons they weren't up for this game. Next up the task is not looking past the Beavers to the game everyone has circled. Hopefully they emerge from next week's game with another decided W and relatively healthy. If so it won't matter if they drop another spot or two in the APs.It reeks of voters not paying attention to that fact.
They were favored by 27……they were up 31 going into the fourth. Had they kept everybody in, they win that game by 55 points easily. I’m sure they are going to be fine.I think the Ducks’ defense against Northwestern’s run game didn’t impress anyone. They’ve got one more gimmee game against the Beavers before they face Penn State. They have to get dialed in.
Agree on the polls. And yes they did what they were supposed to do.my concern meter over the AP ratings is resting at zero mostly because they are irrelevant. this year's front-7 looks really vulnerable to the run to me
Penn State ran for 297 in the B1G Championship.
Ohio State ran for 181. Their two main backs ran for 94 and 85 yards respectively.
Ashton Jeanty ran for 192 against us.
Our run defense has been shitty for years now and it's all on Tosh.
Hip pointer can put you down for a week. Good thing OSU is next.Report is that it's just a hip pointer though.
They played a lot of dime on D, basically prevent D against an offense they didn't fear. The biggest concern I have of the D is working LB Devon Jackson back in from hip surgery. Bryce and Mixon are their only returning LBs with playing experience and they could use a 3rd amigo. I thought the DLine and DBs looked pretty solid overall on a sloppy field where guys were consistently slipping/falling downI think the Ducks’ defense against Northwestern’s run game didn’t impress anyone. They could line up The HCP out wide and still blow out the Beavers. Football is rough, injuries will happen... glad the early reports are this isn't a big deal.Hip pointer can put you down for a week. Good thing OSU is next.
The Civil War continues, well not in 2026, but from 2027 till 2032 the rivalry continues.
