Anyone predict that they would lose 1 of their last three games? Anyone think they would run the table and end up with one loss?
I was semi-sure they would lose at least one of their last 4 games. I thought Iowa and USC were possible losses

but the Washington game has worried me from the beginning. The Ducks are getting pretty banged up. WR's and OLine. The OLine is a huge issue. The game will be Washington's super bowl and played in their house. Washington's QB is as good a passer as the USC QB that just burned the Duck D over and over, and he's the best running QB in the Big-10 and those kinds of QB's have been kryptonite for the Duck D over the Tosh Lupoi era

there's just too many things Oregon has to overcome in that game for me to have any confidence

But more than that is Washington has a bye this week, they have 2 weeks to prepare for the Ducks, and the game will be their super bowl and played in their house. I thought UCLA would play better, but yes, @UCLA is basically a bye week.

If Wisconsin can go to Seattle and bully them around , I like our chances.

Fans are just so used to the Ducks dropping games they should win at the end of the year.

If you have the time, watch the post-game player interviews. I knew Boettcher was a leader on the team, but he is truly beloved by players on the offense and defense.

He knows the reasons why this game is important and the history behind it.

Also, we have this Lanning guy who was quickly initiated into the world of Husky hate.

Every team says Next Man Up, but yesterday showed that the Ducks believe it, buy into it, and do it.

USC gave us their best punches, over and over. Twice in the 2nd half, they got within a score of the Ducks, and the Ducks immediately answered.

Bill Paschke of the LA Times says Lincoln Riley should be in the hot seat after that loss.

Hell, losses to the Ducks this year have directly contributed to two coaches being fired mid-season. If Mike Gundy and James Franklin had won against the Ducks, they would still be employed by their teams today.

Not having "any confidence" about this team and this game is just crazy.

Seriously, go watch the 6 post-game player interviews, they're humble and they're hungry.

Huck the Fuskies!

Go Ducks!

Oops, forgot about the Beavers.

Yes, if the Beavers had beaten the Ducks, Trent Bray would still be their coach today.

I wonder if a team has had 3 head coaches fired mid-season after beating them before?

if everything else stays the same, and Oregon beats Washington, it would be great if Oregon moved up to 6. Getting Miami at Autzen, and Texas A&M is a much better draw than having to go thru Alabama & Indiana
Nope. Won’t happen that way. I’m convinced Oregon will not be allowed an easier road to the final Four. They will need to beat two powerhouse teams to get there.
Bring it!

Wilcox just got fired at Cal.

Perhaps the QB who was an original Duck commit decided he wants to go to Eugene?

I think it’s silly that Cal fired him. Who are they going to hire who is any better?

Remember the letter that Joey Harrington and other Duck players and alumni wrote saying Oregon should hire Wilcox instead of Lanning?

I do not understand why Lane wasn't ejected for going onto the Oregon sideline and confronting Ify. I have never seen anything like that in all the years I have watched football. If that kind of thing happened in the NBA they'd be gone. This isn't like an opposing player going into the enemy sideline off a run or catch. This is a guy who chose to run onto the sideline LONG after the play was over and confront another player. How is that not something that warrants an ejection!?!?!

it was suspicious because it looked like he wanted the ball....which was USC's offensive football. Was it an illegal underinflated ball making it easier to catch? Shades of the New England Patriots?

the officials had a really bad day, and almost all of the iffy calls went against the Ducks. Oregon was whistled for 4 defensive PI calls. A couple were legit but a couple were questionable. But if all 4 were legit than USC shoud have been called for two offensive PI penalties on pretty blatant pushoffs by the Trojan WR's

I don't know where to post this, thought it was really crazy. I was looking at Big Ten basketball schedule for today to see when Ducks play and I noticed that supposedly the cheapest ticket for USC at Boise is $5,599. Those Boise people must really love their basketball!
