They promoted a guy who never should have been promoted.

For that matter, they probably promoted two guys that never should have been promoted. If you're an elite program, and you lose an elite coach, you don't promote from within. You go after another elite coach.

College football is an odd sport, because it's like, either you're one of the elite or your nothing. In other sports, you usually always have a shot to get into the playoffs at a lower seed, then anything can happen. But what are we playing for now? Rivalries?

The Ducks are just not that good this year. The only good player on the defense is Buckner, and the rest of the motley crew are sub par. Teams have been marching up and down against us all year. And the QB play has been terrible.
